【October Market Schedule】

En skördemarknad? More like harvest markets all harvest season long!

We’ve been recurrently attending – and organising – local food markets throughout the year, and it feels like we’re finally reaching the peak of this growing season with our October offerings. Tail end of the summer crops is now – thanks to borrowed time and extra heat in our greenhouse tunnels – which overlaps wonderfully with autumn ingredients and long-matured flavours finally arriving at the scene. We would love to nourish you with our actual fruits of labour

What a market that was last Saturday!

Bit of a slow start but visitors came in droves soon after – huge thanks for those who popped by Grönsakstorget and shopped from us and our fellow vendors and friends!

Let’s do Gothenburg Farmers Markets all over again this Saturday (as part of the second weekend of Food Fest Gothenburg); the weather forecast isn’t looking so great but we and our producers are committed to service you rain or shine – please continue to support us and the local food movement!

TOMORROW!

For Food Fest Gothenburg we’re hosting our farm-to-table lunch, cooked and narrated by Dylan as he recalls the multifold story of how Wealdbrook Farm was brought to life.

And to give you an idea of what to expect – unless of course you prefer to be surprised! – we can now reveal the three-course menu for tomorrow. Expect layers upon layers of cultural meanings and symbolisms, funny dish names laced with irony and self-deprecation, and glimpses of possibilities local food production can bring to the table – all from within an hour of Grönsakstorget.

Well, it’s all roads to Grönsakstorget once more for Food Fest Gothenburg!

This time last year, we converged for the first time on Grönsakstorget to celebrate the best of gastronomy in Gothenburg and its surrounds. It was also then when Gothenburg Farmers Markets was born.

One year later, after monthly of returning to Grönsakstorget and keeping the Gothenburg Farmers Markets torch aflame, we’re back to where we started – except a bit older, more memories and with a growing community of market producers and recurring visitors.

Here’s a little recap of the first big year of Farmers Markets on Grönsakstorget!

We are extremely thankful and honoured to be involved in this segment of Food Fest Gothenburg, and to be co-creating Gothenburg Farmers Markets on the back of this food-centric fringe festival and local food movement – whose importance we deeply believe in.

Eight consecutive Saturdays throughout autumn, a showcase of the best local growers and food producers, peak seasonal flavours, a community of passion over what and how we eat. Join us as we once more revive Gothenburg’s epicentre of gastronomic and sustainability culture - and bring back the reliably recurring farmers’ market this city truly needs.

The Tomato Class of 2026 photos are here!

They’ve all graduated with top scores in gorgeousness even after a rough start, though it now seems like a lifetime ago when we raised them from seeds, repotting, twining, suckering and eyeing them daily. That tender care combined with outstanding genetic codes have yielded us stunning specimens we’re proud to include in our tomato range of the year.

Some are perennial favourites (Xanadu Green Goddess, Queen of the Night) while a few are trial varieties (Sart Roloise, Marsha’s Starfighter) we’re so blown away by we’ll definitely include in our repertoire in future seasons. Our multi-coloured cherry tomato mix remains as vibrant and candy-licious as nature curates. All grown in West Sweden in an unheated polytunnel, without any funny business or input.

【September Market Schedule】

Finally, we have weekly presence in Gothenburg! For the longest time we – the farmers and those we feed – have been yearning for a consistently, recurring marketplace to provide access to decent local food: not just our own, and certainly not one-off offerings.

And now we’ve got it! It gives us great pleasure to announce we’re coming down south to Gothenburg every Saturday in September and October – all except one will be to Grönsakstorget. Makes it easy enough to find us and our food-producing chums!

Oh and we’ve managed to squeeze in a couple extra appearances to our north, including our own monthly Agora på Vårvik. When in abundance, cast the bounty wide and far.

September marks the start of our harvest season!

Not only are we finally harvesting our crops of gorgeous vegetables – we’ve been doing that since May anyway – but also the relationships we sowed and foundations we built.

And it all culminates on Grönsakstorget: eight Saturdays straight, everything we’ve worked on and towards this year.

Blimey August, where did you go? You were over in the blink of an eye.

The past 31 days have already begun blurring together. So much happened – we’ve barely stopped or rested amidst the unprecedented eventfulness and the need to ”just do”.

Good thing we did pause at times to capture moments of farm life, both on- and offsite. Not only because our memory might require jogging: recording snippets of video gave us the chances to stay still – even just for seconds – and savour the fruits our hardships and values bore.

And to take a micro-break.
