Anton Stokes Graphic Designer Anton Stokes, Gothenburg based graphic designer I am a freelance graphic designer living and working in Gothenburg, Sweden.

I have been a designer and artworker for over a decade, mainly in my native London, where I worked in-house for a couple of great record stores, and at a fantastic marketing agency that has clients we’ve all heard of. al community, mostly designing for print but increasingly for the web, too. This page is where I post news, interesting design related links, and pictures of my work that I like but that didn't make the cut on my official portfolio for various reasons: unfinished work, older projects, sketches, work that is not very good but still has a charm that makes me want to show it to people.

There is a restaurant in town that has vinyl illustrations on the windows, which I can only assume are supposed to represent the raw materials of the meals you can eat there. One of them is most likely a cauliflower, but the rest are animals. The illustrations are interesting and would possibly be fun in another context, but I'm sure that at no point did anyone ask, "what is the purpose of this?", to which the answer would presumably have been, "to make people want to eat here". The problem is that the animals are all unhappy. And creepy. Apart from the rabbit. The rabbit is happy. I'm sure we all know why he is pleased with himself.
