Dansk Energi concludes - based on a new fact-based pricing analysis done by Tefficient for Dansk Energi - that Denmark has among the lower prices on fibre broadband in the European near-zone.

Danske forbrugerpriser på fibernet er blandt de laveste i Europa. Det viser en ny rapport, der for første gang sammenligner danske priser på fibernetabonnementer med tilsvarende rundt om i Europa. Det er glædeligt for forbrugerne og gavner konkurrencen, mener Dansk Energi.

Dansk Energi's members are behind much of the FTTH rollout in Denmark. Dansk Energi found our analysis of Nordic broadband pricing interesting - it supports the view that Denmark has the cheapest broadband in the Nordics. The report isn't published by KMD (the Norwegian government department that ordered it), but Dansk Energi asked for it from KMD.

Norway's Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation (KMD) issued a comprehensive white paper to the Parliament today. It covers many issues and outlines Norway's policy going forward.

As input to chapter 7, we have provided KMD with two detailed analyses assessing the Norwegian mobile pricing and the fixed broadband pricing against that of Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

Bids in Taiwan’s auction of fifth-generation networking airwaves have exceeded NT$100 billion ($3.3 billion), a sign of robust demand as carriers race to deploy new wireless networks for applications including smart manufacturing and autonomous cars.

E&T Magazine's Ben Heubl wrote a piece around the interesting fact that the South Korean government proudly presents new record numbers of 5G subscribers and 5G sites - and at the same time 'recommends' Samsung to start selling the 4G versions of its new, popular, Note 10 smartphone also in South Korea.

Amidst exploding subscription numbers and a new record high of 2.5 million 5G customers, a South Korean government official pressed Samsung to reconsider its decision to hold back a 4G-capable version of its Galaxy Note 10 model.
