I've decided to sell the wood for violins that I've collected over the years. Oldest are ca 40 years, and down to my latest purchase 6 years ago. The pictures show a few of them. I got ribs and neck blocks as well as spruce tops.

I'd like to sell it all, and easiest to one place, or a couple of makers sharing the lot.

I will not ship it.

Nice to be back in the atelier after a break. First out is a violin bow with round pernambuco stick. 18 carat gold mounted ebony frog decorated with beautiful ormeaux pearl. Weight is 58,7 grams and the bow feels overall nicely balanced. The contact with the string is very even, spiced with a whisker of tendency to its own will on the upper half. It draws a crisp and full spectrum tone.

Update: Bow is sold.

This bow is unbooked.

A violina bow suitable for a five string violin. It is a bit heavier than a normal violin bow, so that it easier draws a good sound also from the heavier C-string.

Atelier is now closed for rehairings, restoration and repair work. I will continue to make new bows.
