Don't miss out on the Øredev keynote talk by Adam Tornhill
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCitY0QEq2Y&t=16m55s
He touches on topics such as evolvement of code base complexity and introduces the concept of hotspots (of code complexity) as a way to identify crucial parts of the code to simplify. Interesting.
I love how he mixes psychology and code and puts it in the perspective of a social context as most development is performed in larger organisations.
There is a lot more in there as well with which you will be certain to identify with (if you ever worked with software development in any form). So if you need something to spark your brain on your commute to work or during the afternoon break today, you have an interesting 45 minutes to look forward to! :)
All the best.
