"Kristian Andréason and Kristin Leibel are recognized for their work in architectural lighting design. The collaboration with the lighting company Ateljé Lyktan have resulted in several products which of the latest "Quad" was awarded with a red dot design award in 2012. In addition they have worked with clients such as IKEA of Sweden and Fagerhult lighting."

Incinerated Bench 48 kg, Landfill Table 103 kg, Leakage Objects 7 kg represent the amount of plastic waste that will be burned, buried and uncontrollably leaked into nature for each person in the West this year.

Material: charred larch wood, stucco, residual waste from plastic production

Project Landfill is our contribution to the exhibition Plastic Perspectives 4/2-8/2 space C18:50 and 14/2-15/4

Plastic Perspectives

Plastic is a lightweight, cheap and convenient material. But its ubiquitous presence raises uncomfortable questions: about overconsumption, waste and the use of fossil resources. About our desire to shape, bend and color products in endless variation. Plastic Perspectives explores humanity’s relationship with this material, which despite its short history has come to play a pivotal role in our modern society.

Welcome to the studio exhibition In Situ Arlöv showing brand new work by Andréason & Leibel presented together with rare french and japanese design from the first half of the twentieth century. Names like Noguchi, Perriand, Jouve, Mategot, Prouvét and Le Courbusier​​​​​​​​

The exhibition is open from 19th to the 22nd of may. The address is Hantverkaregatan 4 in Arlöv, Sweden. Opening hours 11 am to six pm. Welcome!​​​​​​​​
