✨ Reflections on 2025 and Looking Ahead to 2026 – A Message from Our CEO ✨
As we close the chapter on 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on a year that was less about headlines and more about ex*****on, discipline, and long-term positioning.
2025 was the year in which we consolidated the major investments made in 2024. New injection moulding machines were fully integrated into our operations, and products that were previously sourced externally are now in full-scale mass production within our own facilities. This shift has delivered tangible results: lower costs, improved lead times, and a meaningful reduction in unnecessary transport from Asia to Europe – benefiting both our competitiveness and the environment.
At the same time, we operated in a market environment that remained challenging across Europe. Consumer demand stayed depressed, spending cautious, and uncertainty continued to weigh heavily on confidence. The ongoing war in Ukraine and the broader geopolitical landscape – spanning US, EU, China, and Russia relations – have clearly contributed to this hesitation, affecting volumes, employment, income, and overall growth.
Against this backdrop, I am particularly proud of what the Målmarks team has achieved.
Despite the market conditions, we expanded our customer base significantly, welcoming dozens of new customers following Automechanika Frankfurt, while experiencing zero customer loss. Revenue reached just over €10 million, and EBITDA is expected to grow by approximately 12%, driven by production and warehouse rationalisation as well as more streamlined, cross-departmental purchasing.
Our Hungarian unit delivered an especially strong performance, with year-on-year revenue growth of around 17%, coming very close to surpassing our all-time annual record from 2022. Perhaps next year.
We also completed a major automation investment in Hungary, implementing gravimetric mixers on every machine and automating raw material flow. This has increased consistency and efficiency while allowing 6–8 colleagues to transition into other value-adding roles within the organisation – a clear example of how automation and people development go hand in hand.
Investment in our people remained a priority throughout the year. We increased production-related training, while also strengthening competencies in new technologies and innovation, ensuring that our teams grow alongside our capabilities.
Looking ahead to 2026, we do so with confidence and ambition. We are preparing to implement new production lines to serve a major player in the ski-boot market, alongside additional products entering our portfolio. The energy within the team is strong, and the direction is clear.
With continued support from our customers, partners, and employees, we are firmly focused on our long-term goals: €15 million in revenue by 2027 and €20 million by 2030.
