To be transported into the process of any maker is a treat, but when they’re the kind of storyteller who gives you goosebumps, it feels like we’ve stumbled into rarified air.

The latest release from MajimeKnives steps into the kitchen of Chef Ki in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo, where a MICHELIN Guide star hasn’t diminished his love of community. If anything, it has given him the confidence to dream about his process—and his restaurant—in a totally new way.
