Repost .coffee Today feels special.
We’re proud to share that we’ll be working closely with the Specialty Coffee Association, and that our flagship grinder, the LAGOM 01, will be the 2026-2029 World Brewers Cup Qualified Filter Grinder.
Almost ten years ago, we started as home coffee enthusiasts who simply wanted grinders we’d enjoy using ourselves. Through the support of the coffee community (and the many generous, passionate people we’ve met along the way 🙏), that small idea slowly grew into what OPTION-O is today.
Coffee has always been a collaboration. From farmers and importers, to roasters, brewers, and baristas - every cup carries the work of many hands. When we created the LAGOM 01, our aim was to honour that work: a grinder designed for consistency and performance, supporting workflow rather than getting in the way, minimising waste, and letting the coffee speak for itself.
Competitions create a space where brewers can push boundaries and express their coffees at the highest level, in pursuit of world-class coffee. Being part of the World Brewers Cup allows us to support that process by providing tools competitors can trust, so their focus stays on the coffee and the story they’re telling.
Of course, we’re proud of this milestone. But more than anything, we see it as the start of a new chapter - with more learning and hard work ahead. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support brewers worldwide, and our work continues to be shaped by the community that makes what we do possible.
