Xore announces first sales to Norway! A smelter operation will use the Boxray Compact analyzer to monitor metal content in the leaching circuit. It also enables real time calculation of mass or concentration balance in the leaching process.

This analyzer will be delivered later in the year, but an analyzer to another client will be installed as early as next month, for the same type of application.

Xore will open its first subsidiary, in Norway. "We are very happy to announce these good news, especially in times when there is not so much good news around" says Mikael Normark, CEO.

"Xore has had interesting discussions with some Norwegian companies, and the time has now come to open a local branch. This will pave the way for future business", he continues. "Norway is interesting because they have mines and smelters that can benefit from our products. These clients are also close to our headquarters, which makes service and support easy to solve from day one".

Xore has agents covering markets from North America to the Russian Federation. "We prefer to have some form of local presence and on these markets we have found sales partners with existing networks" says Normark. "Norway is close enough for us to be able to cover clients there with our Swedish staff. This gives us a short starting stretch, while all possibilities remain open for the future".

Backside of the secondary sampling tanks for Boxray 24 on-stream analyser. As all samples are separated with individual tanks and flow cells there is no chance of cross contamination.
Pneumatic cylinders and valves for water flushing between measurements are shielded from the slurry but still easy to access from the back of the stand. The hood at the bottom of the image covers the 24 hour composite sample pots.

Last week I had the pleasure of giving a talk to a delegation of forward thinking miners. Online and onstream elemental analysis is the foundation for both creating digital twins and predictive control algorithms.
What is important to remember is that the digital model can only depict as fast developments as your analysis equipment can record in the first place - which means that an upgrade is best done ahead of any such project!

X-ray tube cooling system, with covers. When surrounding temperatures allow it the cooling system can be placed in the plant, outside the analyser room. The same cooling system is used for both the Boxray 24 and Boxray Compact.
The doors on the front allow access to servicable parts. Use only distilled water and replace the water filter once a year.

Secondary sampling tanks for the Boxray Compact on-stream analyser. Each set of tanks go to one of the analyser’s two flow cells. This means that the user can separate high grade copper samples from low grade copper samples, or have the zinc circuit separated from the lead circuit also in the analyser.
Each sample stream has a 24 hour composite slot sampler. Samples are collected and drained in the sampling stand, which saves drying time in the laboratory.

The Boxray Compact analyser is light and has a small footprint. Easy to service since parts and components are easy to reach.

We listened to interesting presentations and met very nice people from different fields and places.

The Boxray 24 on-stream analyzer for up to 24 sample streams. Samples are completely separated the whole way from the primary sampler to the analyzer, eliminating any risk of contamination between samples.
The vessel under the flow cells has four compartments, so the analyzer can return samples to four different locations. This means you can handle your concentrate carefully or avoid mixing different products in the plant.

The Boxray 24 on-stream analyser has 24 flow cells, one for each sample stream. By separating the samples the whole way there is no chance for contamination.
It also means that time for switching sample to analyse is minimized, as one sample is analysed the next one is prepared.
This truly is world class analysis.
