Throwback friday is a thing, right? Anyway we want to share a few pics from some of the 19 locations where last weeks dog walk took place.

Agrias Hundpromenad was a huge success as usual and together 3600 dogs and humans collected over 180 000 SEK for Hundstallet and Bosses Hundhjälp! We are so proud to be part of this great event that of course will be back next year. See you then!

While in the middle of an intensive high season with the majority of the MCI Nordics office out on events around the country, we are excited to introduce you to another one of our talents. Ylle Ljungdahl is a Project Manager in our corporate division and has been with MCI Nordics since the beginning of 2017.
Ylle is working on an exciting project coming up this weekend, but we got a moment of her time to ask her what her days look like.

- The best ones are a perfect mix of creativity and planning. I love to brainstorm wildly of future project ideas and I love diving deep into the logistic puzzle that is event management.
What is the best thing about your job?
- To get the chance to lift a client by creating events that exceed their expectations and have a long lasting impact on their business. A good event should create a ripple effect in the organisation. The event design should both mirror and develop the hosting company.
How do you handle stress?
- I cook! The more stressful day, the more complicated dishes. The night before a big event i might go for a coq-au-vin or a new challenge from the szechuan cookbook Land of Plenty. Or a Swedish classic such as Kålpudding! Om nom nom. While cooking I have total focus on cutting, chopping, braising or measuring and can let go of everything else.
When did you last learn a new skill?
- This spring I have attended a class at the Royal College of Music: Kulning! It is an ancient tradition of Swedish hearding calls, a very special high-pitched technique of singing. Lots of fun! Loud and largely improvised. This summer the calls will roll over quiet forests and lakes. Hold on to your cattle!
Tell us about a project you are currently working on!
- The Agria Dog Walk that takes place this Saturday May 19th. We did this event three times before in Stockholm, but this year we go big and will arrange it at 19 different locations simultaneously. 16 Swedish cities and the Scandinavian capitals. Which is going to be incredibly fun! Everyone who has a dog should definitely attend the Agria Dog Walk. It is a charity event and for every participant Agria donates money to Hundstallet or Bosses Hundhjälp.

Förra veckan tog MCI över Stockholmsmässan när skolsköterskor från hela landet samlades för Riksföreningen för Skolsköterskors årliga kongress. Med över 1900 registrerade deltagare slog vi rekord i antalet deltagare! För att skapa ett mer hållbart möte återvann vi lanyards och plastfickor och delade ut vattenflaskor.

En fantastisk barnkör från Adolf Fredrik skolan inledde kongressen tätt följt av Alex Schulman som berättade om bakgrunden till boken Glöm mig.
Vi tackar alla fantastiska talare och utställare för medverkan! Hoppas vi ses nästa år! 🙌🌟⭐

Every year Riksföreningen för Skolsköterskor organizes a congress for school nurses from all over Sweden with MCI as their PCO of choice. This year Skolsköterskekongress took place at Stockholmsmässan during two intense days between 19-20 April.

We had a 60 children’s choir opening act, followed by Alex Schulman’s opening speech and book signing – 300 nurses had a selfie taken with the celeb!
To make the meeting more sustainable we handed out branded water bottles, collected all the lanyards and plastic badges.

Next up is one of the stars of our Copenhagen office, Lina Dauksaite has been with MCI for 3 years and 2 months.
As a Project Manager in DMC, Ovation, the best part of her work is to create amazing events for her clients and pushing them to go at least a bit out of their comfort zone and try something new.
A regular workday starts with a fresh cup of coffee and greeting her colleagues before diving into work. Before we go into the Q&A here’s a fun fact about Lina: one of her favorite interns to date used to call her by the name of a well-known dictator and Lina, well she took it as a compliment. Safe to say that organized and structured are two words that describe our star Project Manager.
1. What do you get to do at MCI?
- Fun stuff as planning social programs, Incentives, tours and more.
2. What do you do to feel really good?
- Yoga! Every day of the week.
3. What do you do to flip a bad day?
- Make a good cup of coffee and concentrate on the good things – no matter how small those are.
4. How do you celebrate a win?
- We ring a bell in the office and drink cava ;)
5. Your trick to handle stress?
- Make a very detailed plan of actions and step by step / task by task get out of stress. Small steps rather than looking at the big picture.
6. When was the last time you learned something new and what was it?
- Rappelling in December – 60 m down the ski slope.

Last Saturday our Stockholm office lobby became a concert venue as we had a visit from MAKE A SCENE STHLM. They turn offices and other unexpected settings into intimate stages for creative performances, a mission that goes hand in hand with our motto: when people come together; magic happens.
