The internet as a sales and marketing channel has a vastly unexploited potential. Our mission is to support people and companies utilizing the full potential of internet in an optimal and creative way. Although the internet is a dynamic media, possible to adopt in real time, it’s in many cases used more as traditional offline media. Online campaigns are built around specific sites, in the same way
as traditional offline campaigns are built for specific magazines or newspapers. You have an idea of where you can find your target group; you put your ad there and hope for the best. Our view is that the internet could be used in a much more efficient way if you instead compare it with a face to face meeting, where you listen to the person you are communicating with, look at the response and adopt your message - in real time. This is possible since the internet “sees” the users in the same way as we as humans “see” people we communicate with. Data about such things as online behavior, offline behavior, geographical location and relations can be used to create a picture or a profile of the user. Historical data, showing the user’s basic character, can be used in conjunction with real time data showing the actual behavior and response. The phrase “efficient online marketing” is used by many people working with internet business, and what efficient means differs from one person to another. At Delta Projects, we have divided the term into two aspects.
..from the human perspective: it’s about being relevant, communicating things people are interested in, and having the ability to listen and adopt the message to the receiver - in real time. Exactly the same way as a person with good social skills acts in face to face conversations.
..from the technical perspective: it’s about doing things in a cost efficient way and being able to measure and verify the results of your work. With accurate measurements you can continuously optimize your campaigns and communication based on real facts - not on best guesses.
