Always in a hurry, or just not a fan of time-consuming shopping trips? Studies has showed that shopping trips where the customer is using self-scanning, tends to be quicker on average. Perhaps it is because the queue for the manual checkout magically disappears, or because there is no need to unpack and re-pack the products by the conveyor belt? Who knows.🪄

Happy Midsummer everyone🌼

As we are a Swedish company, we will celebrate Midsummer this weekend! Aside from Christmas, it is one of the most cherished traditions in Sweden. A time to eat potatoes with herring, and dance around that famous Maypole!
Moreover, it is a great chance to appreciate these light days (and nights!)
before its gets darker again...🌃

Where does the name EasyShop come from? 🤔

The history behind the name of our excellent software solution is unfortunately unknown. However, by looking at the two words separately, you can get a sense of the history behind.

💠 The word "easy" comes from the Old French aisier, meaning “to ease.” The first records of the word being used are from around year 1150!

💠 The word "shop" can be traced back to Old English, Old French or Proto-Germanic words, used to describe various type of buildings where trade could take place.

As you can tell, the original meaning of these words still holds relevance for the modern shopping solution we offer today! For an easier and more convenient shopping experience.✌️

We went to Norway ✈️

1 week ago we had the pleasure of meeting with REMA 1000, and to see the EasyShop solution in stores! This has been an interesting and highly succesful project - and it was exciting to see our self-scanning solution integrated with the Æ-app. 📱
