KÄRA VÄNNER,
Av privata skäl har vi som driver Mindepartementet dessvärre inte längre möjlighet att arbeta vidare med verksamheten. Därför har vi under en tid letat efter någon som kan ta över och utveckla verksamheten i våra fantastiska lokaler. Nu kommer Kungliga Konsthögskolan att från och med september ta över lokalerna i Mindepartementet, en lösning som vi är glada över.
Anna Eriksson kommer från hösten att fokusera på sitt arbete med förlaget Art and Theory Publishing som kontinuerligt ökar sin verksamhet och utgivning. Estelle af Malmborg kommer att vara verksam i Madrid och arbeta med Art and Theorys publikationer samt egna projekt.
Vi vill varmt tacka de konstnärer som vi har arbetat tillsammans med, alla som på olika sätt arbetat med Mindepartementet, våra samarbetspartners och förstås alla ni som besökt Mindepartementet. Vi är så otroligt glada över att så många hittat till oss och över all positiv respons vi har fått. Ett särskilt tack till Charlotte Birnbaum som bland annat engagerat sig i Mindepartementets vänner.
Vi vill också tacka Stockholms stad, Statens kulturråd, Stockholms läns landsting, kulturinstitut och ambassader för stöd och givande samarbeten.

DEAR FRIENDS,
For private reasons and with great sadness, we, the founders of Mindepartementet have decided that we are unfortunately no longer able to continue running Mindepartementet Art and Photography. We have spent some time looking for someone to take over and continue developing the organization in our fantastic location and now we are happy to announce that the Royal Institute of Art will take over the space as of September this year.
Anna Eriksson will once again focus solely on running Art and Theory Publishing, which is continually expanding its organization and list of titles. Estelle af Malmborg will be working from Madrid with Art and Theory’s publications, as well as independent curating projects.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the artists we have worked with, as well as all the other wonderful people and organizations that have collaborated with Mindepartementet in a variety of ways, our partners and of course all of you who have visited Mindepartementet. We are particularly happy that so many of you found your way to us and for all the positive feedback we received. A particular thank-you goes to the wonderful Charlotte Birnbaum who headed up Mindepartementet’s Friends Association, amongst many other things.
We would also like to thank the City of Stockholm, the Swedish Arts Council, the Stockholm County Council, as well as various cultural institutes and embassies for their support and rewarding collaborations.
