We are proud to celebrate two of our own drivers/transporters who were nominated for Taxi Star of the Year, a new award from (the Swedish Taxi Association) recognising the drivers who make the industry a little better every day. At Taxi i Norr in Sundsvall, Bareq Saad Qasim and Monir Eisho, both from Cabonline Stockholm, were among the nominees.

Monir has been driving taxi for 16 years. When he first heard about the nomination, it took a moment to sink in:

“I thought it was spam. But when I realised it was real, it meant a lot. I have worked hard and I always show up, no matter the time of day.”

Bareq has been with Cabonline for one year and in the industry for four:

“It felt really good. I am proud. You go to work every day and do your best and now you get confirmation that you are doing something right.”
