Today, our Florence Next team (a Sirocco Group company, specialising in data integrations) joined the local MuleSoft community at a historic brewery in Stockholm for an inspiring afternoon. As proud sponsors, we hosted a breakout session to share insights and connect with attendees.

The event featured a keynote on the latest MuleSoft updates, engaging discussions, and demo booths showcasing new product innovations. We wrapped up the day with networking, great conversations, and some excellent IPAs. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with our team!

Say hi to Amanda Kjellingland our new colleague!

Amanda is our new executive assistant and office manager.
Before joining Sirocco Amanda worked as a Paralegal in different law firms for almost six years. In her free time, Amanda enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

We are very glad that Amanda has joined us! A huge welcome to Sirocco!

After two long years, a team from Sirocco could finally join Dreamforce 2022 in San Francisco!

Around 40.000 attendees were in place and made the streets of San Francisco buzz with Salesforce vibes. Attending Dreamforce is always quite an intensive week. Sirocco meet with customers, partners and tried learning as much as we could during the days that we were there.

Even-though the number of sessions we attended was almost overwhelming and sometimes overlapping, they covered not only every aspect of the Salesforce universe - all the clouds had plenty of dedicated sessions - but also other aspects of the ever changing world around us with the focus being mostly on sustainability.

To not miss anything Sirocco had a plan: We divided the different topics between the team and attended as much as we could. Pictures and notes was taken and we have written a summary of the team’s week in San Francisco that will be shared in a short future. Stayed tuned!

Sirocco joined Salesforce VTO day!

So what is VTO?
It is short for Volunteer Time Off which means that companies as Salesforce offers paid days off for their employees and also invites partners as Sirocco to participate to voluntarily contribute for a non-profit purposes.

Days of VTO contributes to social responsibility and offers an employee paid time off to participate in community service. It’s also a great opportunity to meet and greet business partners  over a good cause.

On this occasion the purpose was to prepare for the harvest autumn market, but also help out so that school classes and others can pay visits to see what farm life is all about 🚜🐓🐄🪵🌾

Hello new colleague Martina

She has a degree in Business and Management and is now a BI consultant. Her main experience is with Microsoft Power Platform.
Martina is a 29-year-old woman born and raised in Mendoza, Argentina. She enjoys outdoor activities.

Her work experience before Sirocco includes working as a BI consultant at a start-up company, as accounting clerk and several years of customer service.

We are happy that she has now joined us at Sirocco, welcome to the team!

We would like to present to you our two new interns at Sirocco Group!

A big and warm welcome to Emilia Isaksson Flink and Sofia Fernquist! We are very happy that you both have joined us and we are looking forward to be your mentor.

Emilia is 23 years old and from Stockholm. She is currently studying to be a front-end developer at IT-Högskolan and will be graduating next year. Before IT, she studied game development and animation. She hopes to have a IT career after she graduates.

Sofia is 25 years old and also from Stockholm. She is currently studying a bachelor’s degree in market communications and IT at Stockholm university, and her wish is to eventually work full-time with IT!

We had such an amazing Sirocco summer event last Friday where we summarized the end of the first half of this year.

Great achievements from the team resulting in new customers, new certifications and new colleagues that had the opportunity to get to know each other. We missed our friends from Dubai & Barcelona but are looking forward having them at our autumn kickoff.

Say hello to our new colleague Tyra Westberg Palm!

Juste like her fellow intern partner Alexandra, Tyra started at Sirocco as an intern while studying computer and systems science at Stockholm University and just got her degree (congratulations!). After a great effort during her internship she has now joined us as a consultant. Keep up the good work!
