In 1925, Philips became involved in the first experiments in television, by 1927, we began producing the trusted radio. By the time 1932 came knocking, we had become the world’s largest radio producer.

1939 was the year of the shaver, the year the first Philips electric shaver was born. This kick started our tireless dedication to fine tune the mechanics behind shaving. Its been a long journey that today enables us to say, " It's only Philips engineering that gives you the best shaves with masterful precision."
