We’re happy to welcome Kasper Jonasson as the newest member joining our team.

He’s currently in his second year at Umeå Institute of Design and will be spending the coming weeks with us at the studio. During his internship, Kasper will take part in our everyday work - from early ideas and sketches to refining concepts and shaping final outcomes.

He will be collaborating closely with the team, sharing his perspective, learning how we approach design challenges and how projects evolve over time.

We’re glad to have him with us and are excited to share this period together. Welcome Kasper!

We are excited to share that our work on the Nexicon: Xylem’s Next-Gen Modular Controller has won the prestigious Award. Developed in collaboration with , this modular, user-friendly design sets a new standard for wastewater pump controllers, ensuring easy installation, operation, and maintenance while being adaptable to future technological needs. Proud to share the work we did with on designing the Xylem MultiSmart powered by Nexicon® a modular controller for their wastewater pumps. Our focus was on creating a user-friendly, easy-to-install product with a modular design that allows for future upgrades and seamless component replacements. This adaptability ensures long-term efficiency while keeping pace with technological advancements. Thank you Xylem for the collaboration

Last week we visited the Smarter Europe exhibition in Munich! The event is a hub for innovation in energy and technology, showcasing new smart batteries, solar power solutions, and chargers focused on the electrification and sustainable future of Europe. We had the opportunity to meet with some of our valued customers and learn more about the exciting developments that will drive the future of an electrified Europe.

We are happy to share that we have two new designers from Umeå Institute of design joining us.

Philip recently joined our team full-time as an industrial designer. Philip brings 7 years of experience from working abroad and in Sweden, both in design studios and in-house, most recently at Electrolux.

He has an extensive background in developing highly ergonomic product solutions, wearable technology, and design identity work. Projects have ranged from complete smart home product suites to sports technology and professional equipment. Philip is at his happiest doing hands-on prototyping or gathering insights from end users in tests and is excited to be part of the Prevas innovation house.

Måns joins us as an intern for part of his studies in Umeå. He comes with great enthusiasm to learn and is already a valuable resource in our active projects. Måns loves coming up with ideas, prototyping, and visualization and is excited to learn more about the real-life user-centric design process.

A few years ago Myra helped Hiab define the next generation of modular truck cranes.

With Hiab's new crane series, a new overall approach both in terms of design and performance was developed. The purpose of the project was to develop a completely new crane series to replace the previously very popular HIAB XS series. A key focus was to reduce production costs as well as increase sales volumes, margins, and improve modularity.

Myra’s design team was involved from the start to the final launch. The new crane took shape through the words Reliability, Performance, User-friendliness, and "Life-Time-Cost” and was Packaged in a modern form with a distinct and strong identity.

Now the most stylish and cost-effective truck crane on the market and a product we often meet on the streets of Södermalm.
