My years of producing has taught me that everyone involved in a film comes at it from a slightly different angle.
A director, an actor, a financier or an audience member might all care about the same film, but not quite in the same way.
So the way you talk about it has to shift depending on who you’re talking to.
Not because you’re being inauthentic. Just because good collaboration starts with paying attention to what matters to the person in front of you.
Save this for your next creative collaboration, and follow for more on producing, storytelling and working across cultures.
