Två stora amerikanska publikationer har listat Israel inom deras topp tio ranking, med hänvisning till landets militära kompetens- och innovationsförmåga.
Webbaserade publikationen US News och World Report, mest känd för sina inflytelserika rankinglistor, har Israel som den 8: e inflytelserikaste nationen i världen.

Samtidigt listade Bloomberg News den judiska staten som den 10: e mest innovativa, som man hyllar för dess högteknologiska industri och tekniska framsteg.


Liksom förra året kom Israel på första plats i kategorin "forskarkoncentration” (antalet yrkesverksamma - däribland doktorandstudenter - som deltar i FoU) per miljon människor i landet.
