🎉 We’re thrilled to announce that Wally, our modular wall-mounted lightbox system designed for Spennare, has been honored with a Red Dot Design Award 2025! 🏆

Wally stands out with its innovative friction lock mechanism, allowing tool-free assembly of aluminum profiles cut to any length. This design ensures flexibility, ease of use, and a minimalist aesthetic, making it perfect for dynamic brand presentations.

The Red Dot Jury praised Wally for its flexibility, user-friendliness, and styling that is reduced to the essentials.

✨ Knatteplock x Catino ✨
In 2024, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Knatteplock to design several products for their range of children’s food utensils. Our goal was to integrate their new design language and key features into each piece.

🍴Children’s Cutlery
The design prioritizes comfort, functionality, and ease of use. The handle is ergonomically shaped to provide a secure grip, perfectly suited for small hands and aiding in the development of motor skills. Like all Knatteplock products, this spoon is crafted from food-grade silicone and proudly features their signature “hand” symbol on the handle for a playful and recognizable touch.

✨ Knatteplock x Catino ✨
In 2024, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Knatteplock to design several products for their range of children’s food utensils. Our goal was to integrate their new design language and key features into each piece.

🍴 The design of the Bowl follows Knatteplock’s distinct soft and clean aesthetic and features their signature “hand” icon on the eating surface.

💡 Using food-grade silicone unlockes unique design possibilities—like the inward overhang on the inside of the bowl. This clever feature makes it easier to scoop up food with a spoon and would be impossible to achieve with traditional injection molding.

We’re proud to have contributed to this thoughtful and playful product line! 👶🍽️

Divided children’s plate by Knatteplock.

The division can make it easier for children to explore the food and understand the difference between different foods. Divided plates are also good for children who do not want different foods to touch each other. The plate is fixed with a suction plug, can be heated in the microwave and washed in the dishwasher.

All of Knatteplock’s plates are designed with curved edges that helps the child to get hold of the food without it sliding around on the plate.

You’ll recognize the same soft, clean aesthetic as the rest of the product line as well as the “wave” element, a design feature enhancing the overall design language for the product range.

Knatteplock’s plates are made of LFGB-certified silicone, which is the strictest standard for products in contact with food. This means that you can be sure that your plate is free of microplastics and toxic substances such as BPA and phthalates, and in 100% food-approved material.

Knatteplock offers a range of products focused on inspiring children to explore food. Our task was to redesign four core products for Knatteplock, infusing them with a cohesive design language that reflects the brand’s identity and appeals to both children and parents.

In response to market demand, sought to expand their product range to include a wall-mounted lightbox. They envisioned a modular system with intuitive, tool free connections capable of accommodating aluminum profiles with no post-processing. This approach would enable them to easily provide a wide array of frame dimensions, to meet client specifications.

The result is Wally, a modular wall-mounted lightbox system for brand exposure or in-store communication etc. The system’s modular approach makes it flexible to use and sustainable in terms of lifespan. Build the frame to fit the wall at your disposal today, and re-build it to fit your location tomorrow.

Wally was awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD, which is one of the most important design prizes in the world. It won over the 132-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with their unique combination of design, usability and functionality. The competition was intense: almost 11,000 entries were submitted from 72 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.

🔴🔴 We’re thrilled to share the news that we’ve been awarded two new design awards! The products Sprint 2 and Cable from were both awarded with the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2024.

Every year, the renowned Red Dot Award: Product Design honours products that impress with their exceptionally high design quality. The award is based on the decision of the Red Dot jury. The experts assess the submissions based on the four basic principles of good design: the quality of function, the quality of seduction, the quality of use and the quality of responsibility.

In 2024, the Red Dot jury is made up of 39 experts from 20 countries on 4 continents. They cover various design disciplines and work as professors, consultants, journalists or industrial designers.

The entries came from 60 countries. The products were tested and evaluated by the jurors according to their respective type. The discussions between the experts are an important part of this process. They testify to the care with which the Red Dot jury considers and evaluates each product individually.
