Bro is a very interesting rock within Tanums with many details, such as updates, initial pecking marks and so-called unfinished figures. Here we see three boats on top of eachother. The lowest one is an absolute masterpiece, the central one lacks crewlines and the one on top is made of initial pecking marks.

The phenomenon of initial peckingmarks is relatively common on smooth-surfaced rocks that it must have been visible on many more rocks, which are damaged due to weathering.
A single-line boat with a spiral prow can be seen on the rock at Krokholmen (see marking).
Similar pecking marks are visible around the cracks in the surface, although they do not form a recognizable figure here.
