maritime-insight is back!!!
maritime-insight, first established in 2012, has now been re-activated by Christopher Pålsson and Niklas Bengtsson. Between 2015 up until recently Chris and Niklas headed the consultancy and shipbuilding outlook services at Lloyd’s List Intelligence.
We will continue to deliver actionable insight, data and forecasts to support strategic decisions by C-level executives and policy makers in the maritime cluster. Our long-term forecasts are based on scenarios up to 2050 and provide details about new ship ordering, deliveries, removals, and fleet development, by ship type, ship size, type of fuel, type of propulsion – all available in number of ships, dwt, gt, key capacities (teu, lane-metre etc), and main engine kW.
We will also re-activate the mi-meetings as we find it important to interact with people. With interaction comes better understanding and wider perspectives on key developments. Look out for further communication from us on upcoming events.
In January 2023, the mi-Executive Meeting will take place in Gothenburg – as always. This time hopefully without Covid restrictions.
Our approach is the same as it has been for the past 25+ years. Shipping is the main facilitator of trade and therefore it is of upmost importance to understand development and key drivers for change of international trade. After all; no cargo, no business.
In a world where the volume of available data is increasing exponentially, it takes knowledge and experience to provide a proper context and perspective and draw relevant conclusions.
maritime-insight is a small company with a large reach. The benefit of a smaller business is minimal administration and bureaucracy which gives speedier response times, flexible solutions, and personal contacts with the experts.
Join us on our journey. It will be great ride.
… and yes, the mi-X-mas beer tasting event will back in some form too!
