One of the key findings of our latest white paper, ‘Resetting office seating: from the back seat to the front row,’ is that office seating continues to be framed editorially through utility more than cultural relevance. It's most often discussed in terms of comfort, productivity, and ergonomics, but it's rarely connected to symbolism, desirability, or cultural meaning.

Combining multiple insights, the report highlights a category that is ready for a more visible role in design culture.
