Arevo appoints Georgios Foufas as CEO to lead next phase of international growth. Dr Georgios Foufas succeeds Niklas Åström, CEO since 2023, and will lead the next phase of Arevo's international expansion.
Niklas Åström served on Arevo's board before becoming CEO in September 2023. Under his leadership, the company built the foundation for its mission: to cut the overuse of mineral fertilisers with a plant-first alternative that works at the root. That foundation is already carrying weight. In July 2026, Corteva added Arginex Soy to its European soybean seed treatment portfolio. With Kekkilä-BVB, Arginex is moving into Nordic and Baltic gardens.
