Long distance sailing lecture at Open Boatyard by Helena Schneider

It is a great Hallberg-Rassy tradition, now for the 30th time, to have an interesting Saturday evening lecture at the Open Yard/Öppet Varv weekend.

The 2026 lecture will be held in English by Helena Schneider, who has sailed her Hallberg-Rassy 31 Mk II "Freedom" both ways solo over the Atlantic.

Application needed

The lecture will be held on Saturday 22 August 2026 at 19.00 in the cantine up at the boatyard, at the big wooden stairs, and we will start with dinner, followed by the lecture.

As the number of seats to the lecture are limited and a dinner will be served, we request a pre-payment of tickets from you. The Saturday night lecture including dinner by star chef David Lundqvist and beverage costs SEK 695 (roughly 64 Euros) per person. The dinner is: Pepper-fried Corn Chicken, thigh fillet, Focaccia with whipped butter, Green salad – tomato, cucumber, virgin mix – vinaigrette aparte, Roasted broccoli with citronette, Roasted potatoes – herbs, aged cheese, Creamy pepper sauce, Parsley, - Coffee, Raspberry cake with sour cream and mint.

Parking within the yard to visit the boatyard and see the yachts in the water as well as exhibitors of yacht equipment is free of charge.

New alternative interior: the Hallberg-Rassy 340 Edition Two

Hallberg-Rassy now offers an alternative interior for the 340: Edition Two, with one instead of two separate double cabins.

The classic twin cabin version remains as the normal version. For those who only need one sleeping cabin, the Edition Two gives many benefits:

• Forward bed moved further aft, consequently growing in width, forward end from 58 to 98 cm, aft end from 200 to 220 cm

• More storage space in the forward cabin

• Extra locker between berth and chain box

• More stowage aft of the berth

• More storagespace under the forepeak berth

• Shortest sole length aft of the forepeak berth increased from 30 to 82 cm

• Headroom aft of the berth increased from 1.79 to 1.86 m, because the bed is moved further aft

• Sofa length increased from 2.00 to 2.02 m

• Galley length increased from 1.57 m to 1.64 m

• The volume of the cockpit locker doubled

• Length of the heads compartment increased from 1.11 to 1.63 m

• Heads floor area more than doubled

• Separate shower with acrylic glass wall

• Wet locker in the heads near the entrance

The first boat will be presented at the Open Boatyard/Öppet Varv next year, 27-29 August 2027.

Nu söker vi Elektriker / Marinelektriker som vill vara med och installera elsystem i några av marknadens mest välrenommerade segelbåtar.

Om rollen
Som elektriker hos oss arbetar Du med både AC- och DC-system i våra båtmodeller.

Du utgår från framtagna beredningsunderlag och behöver självständigt kunna läsa och förstå el-schema, systemschema, metodbeskrivningar samt förstå och följa tekniska genomgångar.

Du ansvarar för att bygga ett eller flera installationsområden inom en specifik båtmodell – inom tidsramar och med hög kvalitetsnivå.

Arbetet omfattar bland annat:
* Elinstallationer med hög säkerhet och finish
* Kabelförläggning enligt ritning och företagets standard
* Montering och inkoppling av marina produkter
* Inkoppling i elcentraler och kontaktorskåp

Vem är Du?
Vi söker Dig som:
✔ Har elutbildning eller motsvarande praktisk erfarenhet
✔ Kan läsa och förstå elschema
✔ Arbetar både självständigt och är en som skapar teamkänsla
✔ Har hög yrkesstolthet och känsla

Erfarenhet från marina installationer är meriterande men inget krav. Har Du ett genuint teknikintresse och några års erfarenhet inom elinstallation erbjuder vi Dig en utvecklande roll i en unik miljö.
