🚀 Reimagining Tomorrow: AI, Innovation & Workforce Transformation

UWEEI, together with Employment & Employability Institute, e2i and supported by NTUC LearningHub and Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association, recently brought together industry leaders, HR practitioners, and professionals from across the Electronics & Electrical sector to explore how AI is reshaping businesses and the future of work.

A key highlight was the panel dialogue featuring Patrick Tay Teck Guan (UWEEI & NTUC), Valerie Lee (ams-OSRAM Asia Pacific), Balamurali Kumar V (STMicroelectronics), and Ong Eng Hui (SSMC). Together, the panellists highlighted an important message: successful AI transformation requires workforce transformation, with businesses investing in people, skills, and adaptability alongside technology.

Special thanks as well to our speakers from NTUC's e2i, PwC Singapore, NTUC LearningHub, and Innowave Tech for sharing practical insights on AI adoption, industry trends, and workforce readiness.

Thank you to all participants, partners, and exhibitors for contributing to the meaningful discussions, knowledge-sharing, and networking opportunities throughout the event.

🤝 Looking to turn AI opportunities into workplace impact? Explore NTUC's AI Playbook for the Manufacturing Sector and partner with UWEEI to drive workforce transformation, build future-ready skills, and implement meaningful AI and CTC initiatives. Contact us at [email protected] to find out more!

🥮✨ Getting into the Mid-Autumn spirit early with UWEEI! ✨🥮

Yesterday, our members rolled up their sleeves and made THREE types of mooncakes: refreshing jelly mooncakes, delicate snowskin mooncakes, and even the challenging traditional Teochew mooncake! 🌕👏

They all turned out beautifully and we hope everyone had as much fun making them as we did seeing their creations come together!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and here’s wishing all our members and their loved ones an early Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 🏮🥮💛
