One of my go-to slow jigging hooks is the Cultiva Jigger Light JF-25 4/0-7/0. But I found myself being questioned, “bro your hooks need so big anot?”.

This is my reason. On several occasions where I’m cranking in my reward, I lost many good fish for reasons such as straightened hook.

Hooks are one of the key aspects that we could alter in our tackle. In order to land the stubborn bottom feeders of the ocean, like the grouper. I need strong hooks.

A secure and solid hookup is essential when slow jigging for these bottom feeders. Thus, make sure that your hooks could make that hookup.
