Affluent, the wealth management card game

A few months ago, I introduced 12 new action cards to the game cards, and the response has been very encouraging.

Now, i am on the verge of introducing more cards, across assets, action, and dream cards. There are about 30 of them.

Affluent is going to be more interesting, more fun, and more learning qualities in it.

To make good use of the high govt to learn new , acquire new , expand current horizon, I took up many courses, from (total 2 diplomas, each consisting 7 modules), to as , .

All these learnings and upgrades, are either part of professional development, such as Cert in Family Office, Cert on Trusts services, Advanced Diploma in Wealth Management, to fulfilling lifelong dreams like scriptwriting, acting and venturing beyond comfort zone, such as personality profiling and even very basic coding.

I have never done it before and never will i think is going to happen again at such breakneck speed.

Between Jan 2021 and May 2022, i attended and completed 12 courses of different duration, intensity and areas of professions.

Not only was i expose to so many different scenarios from various industries, meeting experts in different fields, engaging people from all walks of life, the courses also help me to understand myself better, having better appreciation of who I am, my strengths and my weaknesses. The learning experiences have also helped me to be more certain of my path ahead!

Different people have different priorities, and they change over time. My priorities for the past 16 months has been about building : UPGRADE SKILL PROFICIENCY.

Incidentally, many decades ago this year, I failed my 'O' Level.

Is just like David against Goliath.

started without any .

There's no deal, no , no institution backing, no fan, no supporter, no budget, no advertisement, no , no nothing.

There is only blind !

Even until most recently, it is still very much a solo quest in this Affluent .

There are things i know i ought to do. But a lack in resources, unlike some others with strong backing, has made the journey more than challenging.

But I am not complaining. Because Affluent is my and .

I met many naysayers, throughout the journey. Some even compared Affluent with monopoly and cashflow. I wonder if this is a fair comparison? Affluent only 2 years old, coincided and hindered by 2 years of Covid-19. meanwhile, has been around for decades and 20 years, at least.

But thankfully I also met encouraging friends along the way. They gave valuable suggestions, feedback, , and cheering me on.

To avoid blindspot, I am always asking for feedback and comments. I am always thinking how to make the game more relevant, engaging and interesting for players. I am always believing in miracles.

In fact, in the earlier stage of introducing Affluent, a businessman even offered to buy the game's rights from me. But I chose to keep it.

And when I was down, i was never out. I just needed time to rethink, regroup, restrategise, reexecute.

Even when i know the odd of Affluent getting a breakthrough, and joining the big league is honestly, remote. But at least it is not hopeless.

Because at the end of the story, David defeated Goliath.

Incidentally, playing the game is just part one.

There is another part 2 of financial education that come along with it. And I am also adding new cards and new dimension to the learning and gaming experience.
