Here’s the facts. 💯

Most of the time, people are preoccupied with their own interests. Consider the bookstore as an example. Why do people go there in the first place? To find and read something that interests them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people enjoy fantasy novels, while others enjoy romance. People use social media for self-entertainment, self-education, and self-information – not for retail therapy.

Therefore, stop approaching your social media stream like a shopping mall. NO ONE is out shopping. 🛒

There’s a whole lot of difference really, but the thing is they overlap a lot and in your business’s ecosystem, they work hand in hand.

If your business is a vehicle, marketing will be the engine and branding will be the sound, materials, design etc.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For your business to function, you need both of them - branding and marketing.

For change to happen, it will require 3 key traits from you- curiosity, empathy and imagination.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Who are you building something for? What change do your consumers seek? What are their needs and wants? What are their hopes and dreams?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And last but not least, once you understand the problem, how can you improve their lives?
