Our training series with National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre continued this month — and the energy from Singapore's charities was incredible! ⚡

In this session, non-profit teams dove deeper into using digital platforms to connect with supporters and grow their fundraising reach. The focus? Turning knowledge into action.

Bringing AI-enabled infrastructure to India 🇮🇳

This week, Meta has entered an agreement with Reliance Industries Limited to lease our first AI-enabled data center in Jamnagar, Gujarat — bringing the infrastructure that enables our services and AI capabilities closer to one of our largest and fastest-growing communities.

Meta also contracted nearly 1 GW of new clean and renewable energy in India, a meaningful commitment to India's clean energy ecosystem.

We were thrilled to partner with The Majurity Trust for a Digital Skills Training session for their tech non-profit community! 🙌

Investing in clean energy for the long term ☀️🔋

Meta recently announced two partnerships advancing innovative energy solutions for our data centres.

We're working with Overview Energy on space-based solar technology that can collect sunlight around the clock, and with Noon Energy on ultra-long-duration storage that can hold renewable energy for over 100 hours.

These investments support cleaner, more reliable power—and reflect our commitment to sustainable operations as we continue building our presence here in Singapore.

Meta is proud to be founding sponsor of Sustainable Living Lab (SL2)'s Youth Development for Climate Tech programme, where 90 Singaporean students joined 600 peers from India and Indonesia to build real-world climate solutions using Meta open-source AI tools like Llama and the WhatsApp API.

From apps that help cyclists find cooler routes to real-time flood alert systems, several student-built prototypes are now being reviewed for pilot deployment — open-source AI in action for climate adaptation. 🌏
