At N9, we believe meaningful collaboration often begins by connecting the right people across borders.

We’re pleased to share that Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, is featured in the Sakura Floral Display 2026 at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore.

When an opportunity emerged through our Singapore network, N9 introduced and connected the Ishikawa Prefectural Government with the project team behind this iconic annual event. What began as a conversation has now taken shape as a cultural showcase that brings a piece of Japan to Singapore.

Ishikawa is home to some of Japan’s most celebrated cultural heritage — including Kanazawa’s Kenrokuen Garden, traditional crafts, and centuries of refined aesthetics. Through this exhibition, visitors can experience elements inspired by the region while enjoying the beauty of cherry blossoms inside the Flower Dome.

This kind of cross-border connection is exactly what N9 aims to create:
bridging ecosystems, regions, and ideas to unlock new opportunities for collaboration.

If you’re in Singapore this spring, we highly recommend visiting the exhibition.

Bankers Night Out – 10 March
Where Bankers Talk, Off the Record.

In banking, most conversations are structured. Formal. Guarded.
Yet the insights that truly move institutions forward often come from somewhere else — candid exchanges among peers who understand the same regulatory pressures, credit cycles, internal approvals, and market realities.

Across global financial markets, trust and informal peer networks have quietly shaped collaboration, deal-making, and even crisis response. Not because of what is said publicly — but because of what is shared privately, in confidence, among people who operate inside the system.

That is the idea behind Bankers Night Out (BNO).

BNO is a bankers-only, off-the-record space where commercial bank professionals — including secondees — can connect beyond titles, beyond institutions, and beyond transactional intent. No panels. No pitching. No slides. Just real conversations among people who live the same day-to-day realities of the industry.

On 10 March, we gather again at One&Co Singapore, our co-host and long-term partner, in the heart of Singapore’s financial district. Together, we’re creating a relaxed, trusted environment where meaningful dialogue can happen — over drinks and light bites — without the pressure of performance or sales.

If you work in a commercial bank and value perspective over promotion, insight over noise, and relationships over transactions, this evening is for you.

Seats are curated to maintain the quality of conversation.

Looking forward to welcoming peers from across the industry — from and beyond.

See you there.

As Singapore and Japan mark 60 years of diplomatic relations ( ), we are excited to support a very special edition of the JCTI Launchpad Networking Event, to be held at the Residence of the Ambassador of Japan in Singapore on 5 March 2026.

This is not just another networking session.

The JCTI Launchpad was created to address a very real challenge we see across Asia today:
how established technologies from large corporates can be adapted, translated, and co-developed with local partners to create real business impact.

At the heart of JCTI is a dual dynamic.

On one side, Japanese corporates collaborate with one another, sharing insights, failures, and lessons learned as they adapt their technologies for overseas markets — what we call co-adaptation.
On the other, Japanese and Singapore companies work together, combining deep R&D capabilities with local market knowledge to grow new solutions — true co-evolution.

When these two dynamics move together, innovation accelerates.

This is why we believe Singapore plays a unique role.
It is not only a testbed or a gateway, but a place where technologies, businesses, and ecosystems can evolve together — and where partnerships formed locally can scale across Asia.

From N9’s perspective, this is also part of a broader vision we are quietly building toward:
an “Asia League” of innovation, where companies across Japan, Singapore, and the region collaborate not as isolated projects, but as a connected ecosystem learning and advancing together.

The upcoming JCTI Launchpad brings this vision into a very practical setting.
You will meet Japanese corporates who are actively seeking co-development partners, engage directly with decision-makers, and explore how existing technologies can be applied to real operational and market challenges.

Participation is complimentary, but seats are limited due to the curated nature of the event, with priority for local SMEs, startups, and enterprises interested in technology adoption or co-creation.

If you are exploring how to unlock new business value through collaboration with Japanese technologies, this is a conversation worth joining.

We’re pleased to share that, as one of the organizers of "Bankers NightOut (BNO)", we will be joining the following initiative as a community partner.

GFTN Connect: Japan’s FinTech Edge
・3rd February 2026 | 5:45pm – 8:00pm SGT
・Singapore (location shared upon confirmed registration)

This session brings together senior decision-makers to discuss how Japan’s fintech landscape is evolving toward 2026 — from regulatory momentum and institutional engagement to what’s actually changing on the ground.

For those in banking and the wider financial industry who are curious about Japan as a market, a partner, or a future opportunity, this is a great chance to listen in, learn, and exchange perspectives in a small, off-the-record setting.

As BNO, we’ve always believed in the value of meaningful conversations beyond day-to-day work — and this partnership aligns well with that philosophy. I’d personally encourage anyone in the financial industry with an interest in Japan, fintech, or cross-border collaboration to consider joining.

👉 Registration link:
https://gftn.co/japan-fintech-edge-2026?&utm_source=referral&utm_medium=org-social&utm_campaign=social-sharing&utm_content=partner-bno

The event is free to attend, but spaces are limited.

For those who may not be familiar:
Bankers Night Out (BNO) is a bankers-only social platform we’ve been running in Singapore, creating a relaxed and trusted space for people working in banks to connect, exchange views, and build genuine relationships across institutions — strictly non-sales, peer-to-peer, and off the record.

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces — and new ones — continuing the conversation.
