Quietly taking care of things behind the scenes… like it’s normal.

At this point I’m like… wait… who’s actually doing the job here.

And we still say Accounts only deal with numbers…

It’s 2026 and your resume needs to be changed if you aren't getting any job offers!

I looked at someone’s resume recently… and I knew in 5 seconds why it wasn’t working.

Next thing I know… she’s gone.
Vanished. Office = one less person

I meant… do whatever work you want IN the office.
Not… disappear from the office.

Later we asked her — where did she went...
Thankfully... she just went to buy Luckin Coffee.

Honestly… technically she DID what she wanted.
Just not what I meant...

HR is typically like a part-time therapist, full-time supporter and unofficial life coach.

Meanwhile you thought they just handle paperwork and hire workers...

Medical certificates are common in all offices, what happens when someone is on Mc and our very own irene is asked to cover the task?

We all thought she’d step in, handle tasks, keep things moving…
However, her first instinct is not helping her absent colleague to do her work... It's to cover up her desk...

Technically… she DID cover the work.
Practically? The work still chilling there...

What's the purpose of covering her work, when the work isn't getting done?

Different generations starting work

70s: Already in the office before anyone else… typing like a mad lady...

80s: Once in the office, email first. Have clear piriorites and go straight into it.

90s: Coffee always come first then mentally preparing, work can wait 5 mins.

00s: Come into office on the dot, after opening laptop...
Don't know what should they be doing... even after a few hours.

Same office. Same job.
Different operating systems.

When Lakshmi came and ask me a question, I told her to ChatGPT it, yet she asked me how to spell?
This is my first time meeting someone who have never use ChatGPT before!

After having Rai to set it up for her...

Now Lakshmi even using it for grocery lists like a pro.
