Technician (Golf Course Maintenance)

The Job:
• Carry out preventive maintenance for all equipment used
• Responsible for the servicing of failing equipment and buggies
• Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical defects in diesel-powered equipment, electric-powered buggies, trucks and other mechanical machineries that are used in daily maintenance works
• Maintain records for equipment maintenance
• Maintain workshop area by enforcing safety measures

Requirements:
• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Must be able to work long hours during weekends and public holidays when required (Overtime pay given where applicable)
• Outgoing, tactful and possesses problem solving skills

5-day Work-week
Working Hours
• 6:00 am to 4:00 pm (Mon)
• 6:00 am to 3:00 pm (Tue, Thu & Fri)
• 5:45 am to 10:00 am (Wed & Sat only)

Job scope

- Meet day to day production schedule and output

- Perform hand over of production status and issues to next shift

- Prepare raw material for production

- Load and unload material and sub-assembly products

- Perform audit checks and quality control

- Carry out periodic maintenance, verification and calibration of lab/packaging equipment

- Initiate project to improve productivity, quality and safety of the QA processes

- Able to work 12 hrs rotating shift at 1 month interval

- Possess positive attitude and able to work with min supervision

Job Scope:

• Ensure the safety of all swimmers is not compromised by being vigilant on swimming activities at all times while on duty

• Enforce Singapore Sports Council (SSC) rules and regulations and handle public enquires & feedback

• Carry out simple repair and maintenance works. Equipment conditioning (prevent defects and rust)

• Check pH and Chlorine levels are at the correct reading twice daily

• Ensure PSI levels are not built up too high; Perform backwash when necessary

• Order Sodium Hypochlorite, first-aid items and items for water test kit. Ensure that first-aid and lifesaving equipment are in good working condition

• Report potential safety any defects of swimming pool facilities to Executive (Sea Sports & Recreation)

• Prevent hazard in the pool by not allowing foreign objects in the pool brought by bather and ensuring appropriate attire by pool users

Requirements:

• Possess a Bronze Medallion Certificate, Lifesaving and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate holder

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• A team player who is able to multi-task and carry out his responsibility with minimum supervision

• Must be able to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays

• Staff transport provided at Tanah Merah MRT station

Work-week 5-day

Working Hours
Rotating Shifts:
• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm
• 8:00 am to 9:00 pm

Annual leave 14 days
Allowance S$20 monthly for laundry
