Congratulations, Keppel Infrastructure @ Changi, for being the first to be awarded BCA’s Green Mark Platinum Positive Energy certification under BCA’s Green Mark 2021 Certification scheme!
This is an outstanding accomplishment after retrofitting works. The building has now over 4,000 square meters of photovoltaics (PV) installed on the building’s rooftop and building façade. This yields about 600,000 kWh/year of renewable energy, more than double the building’s consumption. Not an easy feat to be able to power itself, and still have the surplus energy to power the equivalent of an additional 80 4-room HDB flats per year!
We are thrilled to continuously see more BE stakeholders push the boundaries of sustainability and help move one step closer to our Singapore Green Building Masterplan ambitions for a low carbon built environment.
