Who gave Gen Z the mic? (We did. And we regret nothing.)

Woodlands Ring Secondary School dropped by Media Clubroom for a hands-on podcast experience learning journey and let’s just say, they understood the assignment. 🎙️🔥

We’re all about giving youth a platform to explore their voice, literally and figuratively. It was so fulfilling to see the students step into our studio, try out the mic, and get a feel of what it’s like behind the scenes. Their energy, curiosity, and bravery reminded us why we do what we do.

At Media Clubroom, we’re passionate about giving youth a space to explore, express, and be heard. Grateful for the chance to play a small part in their journey, and excited for what they’ll go on to create.

Snippets of the mayhem below👇

Big shoutout to our very own Yvonne Ng and Chrissie Choo for owning the mic and for giving their hearts so readily.

If you’ve ever rolled your eyes at a “wellness initiative,” this one’s for you.

We're peeling back the smiley face emoji to talk about what really happens when companies skip emotional honesty for performative wellness.

We’re thrilled to have , former global investment executive and now strategic parenting advisor, join our next BondFire Fridays panel on Toxic Positivity at Work.

From navigating high-stakes finance to raising two teenagers, Philip brings a rare mix of corporate insight and grounded wisdom. He’ll be unpacking how the changing nature of work (and parenting!) is shifting our expectations — and what that means for the future of employee wellbeing.

Catch him on April 25 alongside Emily Ortega and Jose Yong, in a panel session introduced by Chrissie Choo.

Why should men be part of the conversation about women “having it all”?

Because gender equality isn’t just a women’s issue. It’s everyone’s.

That’s why we're particularly excited to have Idris Jonathan Cheetham as the moderator for this panel. Idris isn’t just here to ask the questions - he’s here to highlight the narratives, amplify perspectives, and show why men need to be actively engaged in conversations about women’s success, struggles, and everything in between.

It’s time we moved past the idea that these discussions are only for women. If we want real change, men have to be part of it too.

Join us for a conversation that goes beyond the usual talking points.

We’ve been sold the dream: career, family, success. We’re told we can do it all, but at what cost? What does 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣?

Honey Jacob is ready to challenge everything you thought you knew about “having it all.” In our upcoming panel for Bondfire Fridays, Honey is going to take on the big question: Can women really have it all? She’s a force in the industry, unapologetically breaking down barriers and redefining what success looks like.

We're excited (and maybe a little nervous) for this conversation. If you’ve ever wrestled with these questions, you won’t want to miss it. This one’s about redefining what success really looks like for women in today’s world.

Stay tuned as we get ready to dive deep into a conversation that’s going to make you rethink everything.

In 2012, when Hillary Clinton was the US Secretary of State and Anne-Marie Slaughter was her Director of Policy Planning, Qi Zhai-McCartney read Slaughter’s groundbreaking article, "Why Women Still Can’t Have It All."

It shaped the way she navigated leadership and life as a "working mother". (Honestly, do we still need to define a working woman from a working mother? Does anyone ever talk about a working father?)

13 years later, the conversation has evolved - and it’s no longer just about women. It’s about men, women, couples, and families striving to balance ambition with domestic responsibilities in a world that’s constantly shifting.

💡 How do we redefine success?
💡 How can workplaces support this balance?
💡 And what does "having it all" look like today?

Join us for an honest and necessary conversation with Qi Zhai-McCartney, Idris Jonathan Cheetham, and Honey Jacob, as we explore "HOW Women Can Have It All."

We’re diving into the realities of ambition, leadership, and living life on our own terms - beyond the tired "The Woman Who Has It All" narrative.

"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." — Winston Churchill

Bringing Power Hour to life took months of planning - curating an incredible lineup of mentors, designing a format that encouraged meaningful exchanges, and ensuring every participant walked away with insights they could apply immediately. But seeing the generosity of those who showed up to give - this is why we do what we do. Mentors from diverse industries - leaders, changemakers, and trailblazers - showed up not just to share their knowledge, but to give something far more valuable: time, insights, and genuine encouragement.

A huge thank you to all our mentors for showing up with heart, our mentees for their curiosity, and our partners PlayPan PlayPan - Play For Good for the opportunity. Thank you for creating spaces where we lift each other up.
