For years, more technology meant “better” learning.But now, something unexpected is happening.
Sweden is investing in physical textbooks. Finland is bringing more books and handwriting back. Denmark is investing in physical teaching books. Norway is strengthening access to printed textbooks. More schools are rethinking screen-heavy classrooms.
Is paper making a comeback?
Maybe the real question isn't paper vs. digital.
It's when should we use each one?
Screens offer access and convenience. Paper offers focus, fewer distractions and a different way to read, write and engage. Perhaps paper isn't old-fashioned. Perhaps we simply forgot where it still works best.
