Competence and quick response is needed for support vessels (OSV) carrying out their daily operations in and field development and logistics support. Optimising fuel efficiency for OSVs is key, whether it is for cargo work, at standby, inter-rig or conducting other activities.

As a competitive advantage, ship owners and charterers with data insights on how each type of OSV activity is impacting fuel consumption has a full overview of energy efficiency, across vessels and fleets.

Ascenz, partnering with Credence Offshore, our partner in the Middle East region, has completed a successful pilot in Saudi Aramco's Tanajib base, where the system was commissioned on Zamil 301, the first Saudi Aramco chartered vessel to be fitted with the smart shipping solution. Our team of marine specialists were present onsite to demonstrate the system’s proof-of-concept integrating onboard and onshore functionalities, using one single digital platform to track fuel usage.

Electronic Fuel Monitoring System (EFMS) is continuing to shape sustainability in the shipping industry, and we are committed to deliver digital solutions for fuel-efficient voyages.

Fuel costs is the most expensive factor for fleet operations. EFMS (Electronic Fuel Monitoring System) is a direct approach that helps to reduce fuel consumption. It is designed for OSV ship owners and operators to know:
• How much fuel is being consumed
• How much fuel is remaining onboard
• Which vessel activities has the most impact on vessel fuel consumption
• How much fuel could be saved

The overall result would be lower operational costs and improved business results.

How do vessel owners work smart to optimise vessel performance management? Start with leveraging the right digital tools to be decision-ready.

In this webinar, experts share their insights on:
• Monitoring vessels’ whole voyage based on sensor data and crew inputs, including overall consumption and speed
• Engine efficiency, hull fouling, trim
• Abnormalities in bunker measurements which may indicate malpractice
• LNG boil off gas losses, sloshing in tanks (LNG heels, readiness for emergency departure, ship to ship transfer safety, risk of roll-over, condition of LNG cargo)

The presentations draws from experiences providing performance management services to all vessel types and all sectors, for sustainable shipping.
