Reduce microfibers in your washing machine 👕
Most of the clothes we wear nowadays contain plastic and synthetic fibers like polyester, nylon, acrylic and poly-amide.
Each time we wash our clothes, tiny invisible bits of plastic (microfibers) can escape into the ocean.
Millions of microfibers pass straight through wastewater treatment plants into the sea, because they are so small. They end up being eaten by fish, and studies have found traces of these microfibers in seafood.
❓So what can we do❓
You can try washing your clothes at low temperature and reducing spin speeds on your washing machine, to reduce the amount of microfibers released into the water.
Or why not choosing more sustainable clothes made from natural fibers (such as linen, tencel, h**p etc), which will be less damaging for the environment?😉

Lipbalm create a lot of waste because they are often packaged as little plastic sticks. You don’t really know what they contain, and you probably overpay for them.
Why not switch to this super simple natural remedy for chapped lips?
Cucumber contains 90% water for hydration, vitamin C and caffeic acid which calms the skin.
Recipe:
1️⃣ Mash a few slices of raw cucumber
2️⃣ Rub gently the juice on your lips
3️⃣ Rinse after 10 min.
You can also simply gently rub a cooled slice of raw cucumber on your lips for a cleanup.
