A Shared Vision. A Shared Responsibility.

Today, CorporateConnections Singapore welcomed Ms Priscila Zhang as our newest member. We are excited to have her join our growing community of business leaders and look forward to the connections and possibilities ahead.

The session also marked an important moment for the chapter as our Chapter Chair, Ler Wee Meng, shared the chapter vision:

Connecting Within.
Connecting Beyond.
Connecting Across.

But this vision is more than three statements.

It is a call to action.

Connecting Within — building deeper trust and stronger relationships within our chapter.

Connecting Beyond — reaching beyond our existing circles to create new opportunities and possibilities.

Connecting Across — building bridges across industries, communities, markets and borders.

Ler also challenged our members to take ownership of the chapter and to actively build bridges with all parties.

This is important.

A chapter does not become valuable simply because it has great members.

It becomes valuable when great members actively create value for one another and for the wider ecosystem.

Every connection can open a door.
Every introduction can create an opportunity.
Every bridge can lead to something none of us could build alone.

That is the culture we want to build in CorporateConnections Singapore.

Not simply a network of leaders — but a community of leaders who take ownership, connect with purpose and create possibilities together.

Connecting Within.
Connecting Beyond.
Connecting Across.

The vision has been set.

Now, we build it together.

**Singapore: Connecting Within. Beyond. Across Borders.**

Robert Gervais, Global President of CorporateConnections, shared a powerful perspective in his congratulatory message for the launch of our first chapter in Singapore.

He described Singapore as a place where **commerce, innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership converge** — and as a gateway connecting cultures, markets and opportunities across the globe.

For us, this is more than a description of Singapore.

It is an opportunity.

**Connecting within.**

Bringing business leaders from different industries together to build trusted relationships and discover possibilities that may not have been visible before.

**Connecting beyond.**

Creating relationships that extend beyond Singapore — into new markets, new partnerships and new opportunities.

**Connecting across borders.**

Connecting leaders, ideas and opportunities across Southeast Asia and the wider CorporateConnections global community.

Robert also reminded us that the greatest opportunities emerge through trusted relationships — relationships that create partnerships, open new markets and enable leaders to achieve more together.

This is what makes the Singapore chapter significant.

It is not simply the establishment of another business network.

It is the beginning of a **platform for trusted relationships and cross-border opportunities**, with Singapore positioned to play a strategic role within the CorporateConnections ecosystem across Southeast Asia.

The chapter has launched.

Now comes the more important part:

**Building the relationships.
Creating the connections.
And turning those connections into opportunities.**

Thank you, Robert, and the CorporateConnections global community, for recognising the potential of Singapore.

**This is only the beginning.**

The Conversation Continues Beyond the Opportunity Exchange

Global Opportunity Day may have officially ended, but the conversations did not.

Over lunch, members continued the discussions that started earlier in the day — exchanging ideas, exploring potential partnerships, and discovering where their businesses could create value for one another.

This is what makes meaningful business connections different.

It is not simply about exchanging business cards or having a quick conversation. It is about having the time and space to go deeper, understand each other’s ambitions, and explore what could be built together.

Sometimes, the most valuable opportunity starts with a conversation that continues over lunch.

Connect. Explore. Collaborate. Create extraordinary opportunities together.

The Gala was over. The work started the next day.

On 18 August, we celebrated the launch of CorporateConnections Singapore.

On 19 August, 51 local and international business leaders came together for Global Opportunity Day.

There was no long introduction to the concept.

We simply got into the conversations.

What market are you looking to enter?
What kind of partner do you need?
What opportunity are you working on?
What can you offer others?

The conversations covered market expansion, partnerships, investment, distribution and cross-border opportunities.

What I appreciated most was the willingness of participants to share opportunities, make introductions and look beyond their own businesses.

That is the kind of network we want to build in Singapore — one where the value is not simply in who you know, but in what we can create together.

The launch was one milestone.

Global Opportunity Day was the first step in turning the community into a working network.

Thank you to all 51 participants, especially those who travelled from overseas to be part of it.

And to everyone who made a connection yesterday — I hope it becomes an opportunity tomorrow.

One Night. Many Connections. A New Beginning.

Looking back at our Gala Celebration, what stands out to me is not just the venue, the stage or the celebration.

It is the people.

Founding members who took the first step to build something new in Singapore.

Members and leaders who travelled from Taiwan, Japan, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Canada and beyond to stand with us.

And the many conversations that happened between people who may have walked into the room as strangers, but left with new relationships, new possibilities and perhaps the beginning of something much bigger.

That, to me, is the real value of CorporateConnections.

It is not simply about having more contacts.

It is about being in a room where trusted leaders are willing to open doors, share opportunities and create value for one another.

This video captures only a few moments from the evening.

The real story is what happens after the Gala — in the conversations, introductions, collaborations and opportunities that follow.

Thank you to everyone who made this night possible and, most importantly, to everyone who believed in the vision for CorporateConnections Singapore.

The Gala was a celebration of what we have built.
Now, the real journey begins.

Beyond the Gala. Into the businesses behind the connections.

The launch of CorporateConnections Singapore Chapter 1 brought together business leaders from Singapore and around the world.

But some of the most meaningful moments happened away from the Gala.

Before the celebration, our members had the opportunity to visit Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, through the kind arrangement of our healthcare member Ms Elayne Soh, CEO of Beyond Medical Group.

We are grateful to Ms Sherrie, CEO of Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, for welcoming our members and giving us the opportunity to tour the hospital and learn more about its operations and healthcare environment.

Our members also visited Nihon Premium Clinic, hosted by our healthcare member Ms Cheryl Heng.

These weren't simply site visits.

They were opportunities for leaders to step into each other's businesses, ask questions, exchange perspectives and discover where their expertise, resources and relationships might intersect.

That is where a business network becomes valuable.

Not just knowing who someone is — but understanding what they do, what they can offer, and where you may be able to create value together.

We thank Elayne, Sherrie and Cheryl for opening their doors to our members, and our members for making the effort to learn from one another.

The Chapter Launch marked a milestone for CorporateConnections Singapore.

The real work — and the real connections — continue beyond the Gala.

A Night Made Special by Our Community

What a night to remember. ✨

As we share these moments from the CorporateConnections Singapore Chapter 1 Launch Gala, we want to take a moment to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who joined us.

To our local guests, members, business leaders and friends — thank you for being part of this important milestone and for believing in what we are building together in Singapore.

To our international members and leaders who travelled from across the region and beyond — your presence made the evening truly special. Having friends and fellow members from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Cambodia, Japan, Malaysia, India, Canada and beyond come together to celebrate with us was a powerful reminder that CorporateConnections is more than a local community. It is a global network built on trusted relationships and meaningful collaboration.

And to our founding members — thank you for taking the first step and having the courage to build something new.

The Gala was not simply a celebration of the launch of a chapter.

It was a celebration of people, relationships, trust and the possibilities that emerge when leaders come together with a spirit of co-creation.

This is only the beginning.

Singapore. Where trusted leaders build extraordinary futures together.

Thank you for being part of our story. 🇸🇬🌏

Singapore Becomes the Meeting Point for Global Business Leaders

A significant milestone for CorporateConnections in Asia.

CorporateConnections Singapore Chapter 1 has officially launched, bringing together established business leaders from Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Cambodia, India, Canada, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

This is more than the launch of a new chapter.

It reflects what we believe CorporateConnections can create when the right business leaders come together — trusted relationships that lead to real cross-border opportunities.

For established business owners and decision-makers, growth increasingly goes beyond their home market.

It can mean entering a new country, finding the right strategic partner, accessing new capital, identifying acquisition opportunities, or simply having the right person to open a door in a market where you have no existing network.

That is where a global community becomes valuable.

With Singapore as a strategic hub, CorporateConnections Singapore aims to connect established leaders with peers across markets and create the environment for meaningful conversations, trusted introductions and opportunities to collaborate.

The launch brought together leaders from seven international markets — and marks the beginning of what we hope will become a strong platform for cross-border business and co-creation in the region.

We are proud of the Singapore team, our members and the international CorporateConnections community who made this milestone possible.

Singapore. Where trusted leaders build extraordinary futures together.

A heartfelt thank you to CorporateConnections Cambodia for the warm hospitality and for hosting an inspiring Cambodia Leadership Summit.

It was a privilege for our National Director and members from CorporateConnections Singapore to be part of this gathering of business leaders from across the region. Beyond the meaningful connections made, we came away with valuable insights that will continue to shape how we lead our businesses and communities.

One message that resonated deeply came from the Director of the Trust Register, who reminded us that while contracts provide the legal framework to enforce obligations, it is trust that forms the true foundation of every successful business relationship. Contracts define expectations, but trust creates confidence, strengthens collaboration, and enables long-term partnerships.

This philosophy lies at the heart of CorporateConnections. Great businesses are built not only on opportunities, but on trusted relationships between leaders who share values, integrity, and a commitment to helping one another succeed.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the CorporateConnections Cambodia team for organising such an impactful summit and creating a platform where leaders can learn, collaborate, and grow together.

We look forward to welcoming many of you to Singapore for our Chapter Launch and continuing to strengthen the trusted relationships that connect our region.
