"The next decade belongs to whoever masters recommendations."

That statement from Shane during today's CorporateConnections Singapore session really stayed with me.

In a world overflowing with information, being searchable is no longer enough. Businesses need to be recommended — by search engines, AI platforms, customers, and trusted networks. During our CC Hacks segment, Shane shared valuable insights on how companies should leverage both SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) together to stay visible and relevant in this new era.

Today was also a special session as we welcomed two outstanding leaders into our community:

👏 Ler Wee Meng from Securevision Pte Ltd
👏 Nathaniel Tan from Zico Capital Pte Ltd

Welcome to the CorporateConnections family!

🎂 We also celebrated Elayne Soh's birthday and enjoyed another opportunity to strengthen relationships with fellow business leaders.

What I appreciate most about Singapore is that every meeting delivers practical insights, meaningful conversations, and trusted connections that help us grow as leaders and businesses.

The question is: Is your business positioned to be recommended when your customers are searching for solutions?

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

“Every successful leader eventually needs a private board.”

Not a room full of spectators.
Not another networking group.
But a trusted circle of accomplished leaders who can challenge your thinking, sharpen your decisions, and see what others cannot.

Because growth changes at every level.

In the early stages of business, you look for opportunities.
At the top, you look for perspective.

That is where CorporateConnections® comes in.

A curated community of business leaders, founders, and decision-makers who understand that the quality of your circle influences the quality of your future.

The best leaders are rarely the smartest person in the room.
They are the ones intentional enough to build the right room around them.

Think of it as your private board for growth, leadership, and legacy.

By invitation. By standards. By impact.

What happens when business leaders stop networking… and start having honest conversations?

Last night, aboard our Executive Harbour Conversations hosted by CorporateConnections Singapore, we were reminded that meaningful leadership communities are not built through business card exchanges.

They are built through trust.

This was not a yacht party.
And it was never meant to be a casual networking session.

The yacht was simply the setting for something far more valuable — a space where founders, CEOs, and decision-makers could openly share:

- leadership vulnerabilities,
- concerns about AI disruption,
- challenges in succession planning,
- and the realities of scaling businesses in today’s environment.

What stood out most was the authenticity in the room.

When senior leaders stop trying to impress one another, deeper conversations begin to happen.

Thank you to everyone who contributed so openly to the discussions and experience. 🙏

I believe Singapore’s business community needs more spaces like this.

What are the conversations business leaders should be having more openly today?

“Are you using AI to cut costs… or to 10x your business?”

That question stayed with me after our April 22 CorporateConnections Singapore session.

At our Executive Decision Forum, we had a candid boardroom-level discussion on whether Chairmen should adopt AI aggressively.

A few perspectives stood out:
One of our members, Harold, challenged the room:
→ “Don’t use AI just to reduce cost. Use it to multiply revenue.”

Our guest, Ariel, shared a practical reality:
→ It takes about 6 months to properly explore, execute, and assess if AI truly works in your business.

The consensus?
→ AI is no longer a tool. It’s becoming a business lifestyle.

What struck me most wasn’t the technology — it was the mindset shift required at the leadership level.

The real question is not “Should we adopt AI?”

It’s “How boldly are we willing to lead with it?”
Curious to hear from fellow leaders in Singapore —

Are you approaching AI as an efficiency play… or a growth engine?

Is your business truly built to survive… or just to sustain?

On 9 April, we hosted our latest CorporateConnections Singapore session with Curtis Ho, and one idea stayed with us:

Going global is no longer optional — it’s a requirement for survival.

Curtis challenged the room with a hard truth:

If your business can’t scale, it can’t survive.
You remain reactive, not strategic
You compete on price, not value
You wait for larger players to define your future

For many of us, this reframes growth entirely — from ambition to necessity.

Beyond the insights, we’re also excited to welcome two new leaders into our community and would like to thank our Global Vice President, Mr. Sri Rathi who flew into Singapore to give a power reminder to our leaders in the room that it is important to be in the room filled with leaders whom you want to learn to become.

We look forward to the perspectives and energy they bring into the room.

At CorporateConnections, it’s not just about networking — it’s about surrounding yourself with leaders who challenge how you think and grow.

What’s one move you’re making today to ensure your business can scale — not just survive?

What does real 10x growth look like when the right leaders connect?

I had the privilege of visiting the CorporateConnections Taipei 4 Experiential Meeting on 9 March 2026, and I must say — it was an extraordinary experience.

This chapter is filled with top leaders from the event and F&B industries, and the scale they operate at is remarkable.

A few things truly stood out:
• Members in the chapter are involved in more than 60% of the concerts held in Taiwan 🎤
• The speed of store expansion by members is unbelievable
• One new member, Chen Yi Shen, who runs a healthy meal concept, is planning to grow from 10 to 100 stores by the end of this year

That is a true 10x phenomenon.
And it reinforces something I strongly believe:

Extraordinary growth happens when you are connected to the right people.

Within CorporateConnections, our members span 33 countries, each leading businesses with USD 10M+ turnover. When leaders connect in the right circle, opportunities accelerate.

A big thank you to Terence Hong for arranging the airport transport, and to Ace Peng , Meigo Shay, Heidi Huang, and the team for taking such great care of our visit.

For Singapore business leaders looking to expand regionally —
Are you connected to the right circle yet?

The right conversations can change the way leaders think.

At our March chapter meeting at CorporateConnections Singapore, something special happened — members and guests came together not just to network, but to learn from one another.

The room was filled with energy as business leaders openly discussed a real business dilemma:
Should a successful consumer brand expand into Europe or continue focusing on Asia?

What made the evening meaningful wasn’t just the case discussion.

It was the quality of the people in the room. The average annual turnover from the attendees is at SGD 40m. It was a room filled with top leaders.

Leaders sharing honest perspectives.
Guests contributing fresh ideas.
Members challenging one another’s thinking — respectfully and thoughtfully.

There was laughter, deep conversation, and the joy of discovering new perspectives together. 🤝

Because in leadership, networking isn’t about collecting contacts.

It’s about being in the right circle — with the right people.

The people you surround yourself with will influence how you think, the opportunities you see, and the decisions you make.

And nights like this remind us why meaningful connections matter.

If you are a business leader who values learning, trust, and powerful relationships, perhaps it’s time to step into the right circle.

As we welcome the Lunar New Year, we’re reminded that true prosperity isn’t measured only in revenue, but in relationships.

From all of us at CorporateConnections Singapore, we wish you a year filled with meaningful partnerships, trusted peers, and sustainable growth.

Just as families reunite to strengthen bonds, business leaders thrive when surrounded by the right community — those who challenge, support, and elevate one another.

Leadership can be demanding, but you don’t have to build alone.

This festive season, reflect: Which relationships are shaping your leadership — and how intentionally are you nurturing them?

Wishing you courage, clarity and connection this New Year. 新年快乐.

Should a Chairman take capital… or stay independent and grow organically?

That was the question that lit up the room at our CorporateConnections Session on 5 February 2026 — and honestly, it reminded me why I love this community. 💡

As we celebrated the upcoming Chinese New Year, our National Director shared oranges with members and guests 🍊—a simple gesture that set a warm, generous tone for the afternoon. We also welcomed three new members into the CorporateConnections family, presenting them with flowers to mark the start of their journey with us 🌸.

The heart of the session was our CC Executive Decision Forum, where business leaders spoke candidly about real boardroom dilemmas:

- Taking PE capital vs staying independent
- Control, growth speed, and long-term legacy
- Knowing when to negotiate—and how to renegotiate

One standout moment was hearing Elayne, one of our newest members, openly share how she is rethinking and renegotiating her PE deal. Raw, practical, and deeply valuable.

Senior leaders don’t need more theories—they need trusted peers to think through hard decisions together.

Proud of what we’re building at Singapore.

What would you prioritise—capital or control? Let’s discuss. 👇

What happens when a room full of business leaders meets—with no transaction agenda, just genuine curiosity? 🇹🇼✨

I had the privilege of attending the CorporateConnections Taipei 1 – Experience Chapter Meeting on 30 January 2026, and it was a powerful reminder of what real cross-border conversations look like.

Even though members were not physically in the room, something interesting happened.

👉 CC Taipei members were actively asking about who our Singapore members are, what they do, and where collaboration could happen across borders.

👉 Many were also curious about how Singapore fits into their overall business strategy—as a gateway, a base, or a strategic multiplier.

What really elevated the conversation was hearing Andrew and Brenda from Taiwan share, candidly, how they intentionally positioned their companies using Singapore—not as a checkbox market, but as a strategic platform. That sparked honest, high-level discussions around structure, trust, and long-term expansion.

This is the power of Experience Chapters:
No pitching. No pressure. Just leaders thinking strategically together 🌏

If you’re a Singapore business leader thinking about regional growth or Taiwan opportunities, these conversations are already happening.

💬 How are you positioning Singapore in your regional strategy today?
