The EndoTracer is designed for the preparation of endodontic access cavities. It is particularly effective for isthmus preparation, helping clinicians locate and access hidden root canals in multi-rooted teeth. In many cases, an isthmus must first be carefully uncovered along part or all of its length before concealed canals can be identified and negotiated.

The EndoTracer features a long, slender neck that provides excellent visibility beyond the access cavity. This allows deeper areas of the cavity to be viewed more clearly, making it easier to identify the anatomy of the pulp chamber floor, perform conservative access to root canal entrances, and uncover obliterated canals while preserving tooth structure.
