Greetings from Donghaixian, China, also known as the Crystal Capital of the World!

AN ULTRA RARE opportunity for Rachel and myself to visit Master Zhang Yu Cheng(张玉成张大师）, an artisan who works at the highest level in the China’s crystal carving community.

His works are also prominently featured in the Donghai Crystal Museum.

Meeting him and visiting his private workshop filled with museum-grade works isn’t a typical experience.

Access is usually limited, often facilitated through industry or official connections.

This would not be possible without the graciousness of a respected Chinese leader who arranged this special meeting just for us, an opportunity that even seasoned collectors may never have!
