The Violinist, a Singapore-led animated feature and official Singapore-Spain-Italy co-production, held its media junket at the Victoria Concert Hall on 2nd September 2026 ahead of the Gala Premiere on 3 September.

SW Strategies is proud to be the agency on record supporting Robot Playground Media for the award-winning production.

The media junket session brought the film’s directors and creative team - Ervin Han, Raul Garcia, Justin Diemen, Leonard Lai, Ricky Ho, Takafumi Yuki, Ayden Sng, Joy Young and Kazuya Tanabe, for a panel discussion and media Q&A on the making of the film, its creative journey and the collaboration behind the production.

A big thank you to the media who joined us and taking the time to engage with the team and learning more about the movie which will hit the big screens in Singapore on 17 September.

We would also like to thank Arts House Group for allowing us the use of the Victoria Concert Hall for the media junket for The Violinist.

Malaysia’s low-altitude economy is entering a new phase, with drone activities taking off alongside growing interest in drone delivery and autonomous systems.

In an interview with The Star’s Starbiz7, Daniel Chow, Principal at Arthur D. Little Southeast Asia, shared his perspective on what it will take for Malaysia to scale its low-altitude economy safely and commercially.

He noted that:
➡️ Logistics: As logistics costs become increasingly competitive across Southeast Asia, drone delivery could help operators further optimise costs and efficiency
➡️ Agriculture: Drone applications could improve productivity while reducing chemical use and workforce pressures
➡️ Healthcare: Drone delivery could help connect remote communities with essential medical supplies

The opportunity for Malaysia goes beyond putting more drones in the sky. Building a broader low-altitude economy ecosystem that spans regulation, infrastructure, technology and autonomous logistics, will be key to realising the sector's potential.
