Universal basic income is a real possibility.
But at what price?
I think our basic instinct is to first survive, and then thrive. If these instincts are taken away or made redundant, we may just become like zombies roaming around aimlessly without purpose, meaning and soul.
Instead of employment, we may have to seek entrepreneurship or freelance. Meanwhile, huge corporations with explosion in profits rule the world in a winner takes all economy. Whoever has the most data and the most advanced AI will win.
