Aquarius Soft Pte Ltd is proud to announce that we have received ISO 27001:2013 certification from SOCOTEC Certification International for the information security management system covering its provision of IT consultancy, business automation, custom software & application development in Singapore. This recognition from an SAC accredited independent third party is a major step forward for our company and staff.
The audit that was conducted on 19 Oct and 18-19 Nov 2021 concluded that the requirements of the ISO 27001:2013 standard are being met and that a genuine continuous improvement process is in place for information security management system.
The impact of this certification and the introduction of an information security management process at Aquarius Soft is essential. Over and above clarifying and setting out clear practices that enable Aquarius Soft staff to work in a consistent, efficient manner, this certification answers the selection criteria that are increasingly being required by some customers. For prospective customers, investors, suppliers, and all other interested parties, it also brings more credibility to Aquarius Soft’s projects and marks its commitment to information security.
This certification also provides a host of benefits to our customers who entrust their data with us. Other than ensuring confidentiality and integrity while keeping information accessible to the right people, the customers are ensured compliance to the SLA backed by an organisation with strategies in cyber security, IT governance and business continuity. It also helps to ensure legal compliance with requirements such as the Personal Data Protection Act.
