To all esteemed Members and Overseas Members of Sino-Singapore Entrepreneurs Association,
Happy 57th National Day to Singapore!
It is a great honor to gather at the Merlion Park for the National Day celebration parade with all the fellow Singaporeans. I have felt the great enthusiasm from everyone on site, and I hereby wish Singapore peace and prosperity for many years to come!
Sino-Singapore Entrepreneurs Association has established for 13 years. I sincerely thank you for your continued support towards the association. Your supports have brought everyone from the Association through thick and thin.
By far, the Association has expanded to 16 representatives all over China: Beijing, Shanghai, Henan, Guangzhou etc.
A special mention to Beijing Zhongdao Entrepreneur Association, Development Center (Singapore branch); Through the regular business function with Zhongdao, we have achieved desirable results. We have successfully built the understanding and trust amongst various enterprises! We have also successfully hosted various business function for cultural exchange for various entrepreneurs!
Today, we come together at the Merlion Park Singapore with honor and sincerity. We wore red top representing the color of Singapore, hold the beautiful orchid in our hands representing the national flower of Singapore, and send our best wishes to Singapore!
Through the great deeds of Mr Lee Kuan Yew and Mr Deng Xiao Ping, we have a much deeper understanding of the purpose of the establishment of China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park, as well as the Mayor’s Program for the Chinese officials in Singapore.
Furthermore, we also have a much deeper understanding of the hardship and effort that Mr Lee Kuan Yew and his brains trust went through, to build an early Sino-Singapore Diplomacy.
It is through these deeper understanding, we can appreciate and cherish the achievements that we have today:
China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park, Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city, Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Singapore Nanjing Eco Hi-tech Island, and Chongqing Halfway Gate to Heaven.
Every project mentioned above is the result of wisdoms, experiences, and handworks infused by the talents from both countries. Especially for the Singapore talent pool with experience, modern concept, advanced technology, and new model (the combination of software, hardware and ‘heartware’). The Singapore brains trust work together with their fellow Singaporean in weal and woe and built a beautiful home for their country. Their efforts have improved their standard of living to a very great extent and impacted their modern mentality.
The current leadership of Singapore have followed the national policy as well as public opinion to learn from many aspects and summarized their valuable experience with the book titled ‘Hu Xue Hu Jian’ (Translated to: Learn from each other).
Through this pandemic, the Singapore Government have shown a strong and effective leadership, resilience, and close cooperation with their people! With the effective control and containment of the pandemic, Singapore gets to enjoy peace and prosperity during these difficult times, once again show the world the soft power of Singapore! The strong National Power of Singapore is the result of strong unity between the people and the country!
The Singapore brains trust has built a bridge for China and the World! A big thank you to Mr Lee Kuan Yew, who has better represented Confucianism with his own economic ideology. Him and his brains trust has successfully developed the ‘Singapore Model’. This model has shone a spotlight onto Singapore in the aspect of East-West cultures and economies. The model has been a great role model for the developing countries from South-East Asia to learn from.
I have been living in Singapore for 23 years. I have witnessed the best safety and security, the cleanest environment of Singapore. I have also felt wholeheartedly the closeness between the Government and the businesses and the people of Singapore! We are grateful for Singapore and let us witness the thriving of Singapore! Let us celebrate the Singapore National Day with the fellow Singaporean! I would like to share these beautiful times and enjoy the happiness together with all the Members of the Association!
At the same time, I would like to thank the founders of this nation. Thank you to Mr Lee Kuan Yew and his brains trust for the founding of Singapore. Thank you to Mr Lee Hsien Loong and his brains trust for the development of Singapore! Let the joyful moments and happiness in life shower upon us! Let us cherish the presence!
Next year in 2023 would be the 100th Anniversary of Mr Lee Kuan Yew, let us show him respect with the orchid named after his name in his remembrance. Such an elite world leader!
The song ‘Chuan Deng’ (Translated to: Transference of the light) originated from Singapore, which sings the song of both Singapore and Malaysia. Let us pass the legacy of Chinese culture to the next generation in the name of this song!
‘Ai Wo Jia Yuan’ (Translated to: Love my home) is an ideology which I would like to share with everyone. This ideology aims to improve the awareness of recycling, picking up of littering, and abide by the laws and orders. I have personally been involved in sharing of this ideology for more than 3 months. I hope to influence everyone around us with our actions, to love our home and our living environment, and most importantly to love the Earth!
It is on this special day; I have specially prepared dumplings for everyone. This custom is a representation of how every Overseas Chinese misses their hometown dearly. Let us raise our chopsticks, have a piece of the dumplings, and remember our roots. As the Chinese saying goes, “On festive occasions, more than ever one thinks of one's loved ones and hometown!”
Dear all, let us gather hand in hand and make the best wishes to Singapore:
May Singapore continue to prosper!
May all Singaporean continue to enjoy peace and harmony!
May the World be filled with love!
