RDA (Red Dot Analytics Pte. Ltd.) is an AI start-up company, based in Singapore with offices in Shenzhen and Hangzhou, China. The company is a spin-off from award-winning projects at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The mission of RDA is to leverage advanced AI technologies for data centre operations and management, improving energy efficiency and operational efficiency (e.g., productivity, uptime). RDA has received Singapore government start-up grant (i.e., TECS POV) and private investors.
We are looking for Head of Marketing and Business Development
The Head of Marketing and Business Development is responsible for developing result-driven strategies to attract new customers from enterprise and colo data center sector, enter new markets and review new business revenue, managing marketing, business resources, sales including performing market research, prospecting, developing relationships with potential customers and meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities
• Accountable for achieving sales target given
• Create and implement strategies and business plan
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and negotiate all contracts with prospective clients
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs and team members
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Continuously improve marketing and sales processes through feedback
Job Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of practical work experience in sales/marketing/business development in IT industry, preferable in data center industry
• Bachelor or Master degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
• Proven working experience as a sales representative in IT industry
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Software
• Highly motivated and targeted driven with a proven track record in marketing and sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the different audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Ability to negotiate effectively, and proactively handle and respond to customer objections
• Strong interpersonal, communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm
