🌍 “The future is not ahead of us — it is arising through us.”

At 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 | 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗶 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, Penny Low (Founder, Social Innovation Park; former Member of Parliament of Singapore) called for a critical shift in paradigm: we must co-create a new incentive framework — one that reframes growth not merely in financial GDP but that also includes the wellbeing our planet and societies.

We often speak of “tomorrow” as something distant. But Penny reminds us: “Tomorrow” is happening now, through us. The systems we build, the values we embed, the incentives we choose — they determine what that future will be.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺’𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹:
• This is a very exciting time - where we can create a new economy narrative to reshape our world, to redefine success and what life is all about.
• Technology is a powerful amplifier—but only if we choose to apply it consciously and ethically. With 2.6 billion people still offline, if we don’t bridge the digital divide, every line of code we write risks widening the divide.
•⁠ ⁠In the era of generative AI and automation, the core skill-set shifts: hard skills may be “ChatGPT-able,” but the differentiators may be the soft skills, ethos, ethics, values, etc.
