Developments in Period 9.

Metaphysics practitioners will understand the effects of Period 9 (technically from 2024-2043). Let's break it down to simpler terms for non-practitioners.
Besides being known as the 離Gua and Fire element, 9 (nine) also symbolises the Middle age lady. How is this relevant?
This implies a general atmosphere and energy that supports the well-being of the Middle-age Lady. More workplace equality? Check. More flexibility in family care? Check. More influence from such a demographic? Yes.
Recall a rise in the number of female heads of state in the past years (Scandinavian nations such as Finland, Denmark, Eastern bloc nations such as Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Iceland and New Zealand. Coincidence? Not really. The change in macro energies can't be avoided and it's only a natural phenomenon.
What's next?
We may see the second female head of state for Thailand coming into power soon and just on the horizon, will be the much looked upon US elections where (no suprise) a lady will be taking on an egolomaniac. While many are already taking bets on another Trump victory, the macro situation suggests otherwise.
Stay tuned for more!

IoN in Action: Education
Being aware and knowing yourself is half the battle won.
In this post, the application of Profiling through Numerology in Education, and more specifically, identifying the natural learning modes of individuals is explored.
We all experienced this before: we find it easier to learn through certain modes, such as listening (Aural), pictures & diagrams (Visual), Reading & Writing or through action (Kinaesthetics).
We may have stumbled upon our best learning mode, but what if we have a tool to identify it?
That's where IoN (and Profiling through Numerology) can save alot of frustration and misunderstanding, particularly for parents who have kids struggling with work pressures now.

Richard from Character Numerology has published a wonderful article on this.
Feel free to reach out to me ([email protected]) for a no-obligation consultation on this topic.

IoN in Action: Final Part in demystifying the 9 basic Numerology profiles

No. 7: The Seeker
7s are known to have an air of mysticism around them. Pythagoras himself is known to only pick people with Life Path 7 as disciples. Spirituality and wisdom are the main characteristics of 7s. Nonetheless, they are always in constant search for more; more knowledge, more network, more meaning. A mindful 7 will ironically have to remind themselves to live "outside" of their mind more, to be more connected to the physical world and allow their talents to be of value to those around them.

No. 8: The Giver
8s are the magnanimous ones. Blessed with natural wealth of knowledge, power/authority and money, they have an innate desire to share. Perhaps burdened by the wealth they are blessed with, 8s tend to be stressed by their circumstances. A mindful 8 will need to remember that, to give is to be blessed. The receiver's response is not their concern.

No. 9: The Philosopher
The highest state or last stage of the numerological cycle, 9s are here to complete their karmic journey. They always seem to be full of experience and wisdom, and is a number associated with success. Having accomplished so much in their past lives, 9s have to be careful not to live in their minds too much or be too arrogant or deprecating.

IoN in Action: Part 2 in the series to demystify the 9 basic profiles to aid in HR processes.

No. 4: The Planner
No. 4s have an innate love to plan. Everything exist in a plan first, before ex*****on. They always have a plan to build, setting a foundation on 4 cornerstones. They have innate wisdom (symbolised by the mortarboard) and have a penchant for hosting (symbolised by the table). A mindful 4 needs to balance planning vs ex*****on; there is no perfect plan. They should also avoid being boxed in and obstinate.

No. 5: The Builder
The 5s are the builders and connectors. Being in the middle of a 3x3 grid, it is the only number to be connected to all other numbers. They have an innate love for freedom (and travel) and will feel suppressed when unable to freely express themselves. The mindful 5 needs to be grounded in purpose, but avoid being too dogmatic or easily influenced. 5s may seem lost and finicky, but once they are able to harness the positivity of all numbers, they have the potential to be highly successful.

No. 6: The Humanitarian
Those with Life Path No. 6 are the "people person" or "Leader of Men". Highly responsible, this often translate into a family-oriented persona. Usually associated with wealth, 6s have an innate appreciation for aesthetics and luxury. A mindful 6 needs to avoid being too indulgent, obsessive and aloof.

IoN in Action: How is it applied?

In the previous post, there was mention of 9 basic profiles that form a foundational framework for IoN profiling.
The descriptions of these profiles have been modernised and simplified for easy consumption; it is advised to consult a practitioner for a bespoke analysis of your Numerological chart.
I will split this into 3 parts, demystifying 3 profiles each time.

No. 1: The Pioneer
Those with a Life Path number 1 have a natural flair for innovating and testing new ideas. Their deep sense of curiosity leads them to unchartered territories, often requiring them to 'take chances' and take that 'leap of faith' into their pursuits. Thus, this usually render such people as 'pioneers'; independent leaders that take the path less travelled, leaving them lonely. These people prefer to work alone, or in small teams that provide them with the agility to move and change directions. While it may make them seem like risk-takers, a mindful and well-balanced No. 1 will delve deep into relevant information before arriving at a well-considered decision.

No. 2: The Diplomat
The Life Path No. 2 is the 'person behind the scenes'. A master communicator with high intuition affinity, the No. 2 constantly seeks balance and equilibrium in all things through dialogue. While not one to take the lead, the No. 2 is nonetheless influential in any team setting, being the one to align members onto a common goal through skillful negotiations. With 2 being the number of duality, care must be taken to ensure balance within the self as well. An off-skelter No. 2 can exhibit extreme personalities, even schizophrenia at times. A weak No. 2 can often be too burdened by the opinion of others and live in constant anxiety. A mindful No. 2 must be fully grounded in their purpose and motivation to unlock its full potential.

No. 3: The Performer
No. 3s are the live-wire in any setting. Its high vibrational energies perpetuate into high creativity abilities and are not afraid to show it. Self-expression is vitally important for No. 3s, and the lack of opportunity for such expression will severely upset them. The high vibrational energies combined with the need for self-expression often cast No. 3s as aggressive, impatient and highly strung individuals. A mindful No. 3 has to remember that outward expression is only half the equation and that the number 3 is also a highly spiritual number (Holy Trinity, 3 Universal Laws). Only through mastering one's outward expression and cultivating inward reflection can a No. 3 be able to unlock their full potential.

Insights of Numbers in Action: How does it look like to use Insights of Numbers (IoN) in your work?

Numerology is not merely esoteric knowledge.
It is a proven tool passed down centuries ago by sages, philosophers and scientists that is able to uncover hidden meaning and occurrences that you experience in your life's journey.
And this tool can now serve to provide other insights in modern society's use cases, one of which will be described below.

In the hiring process, companies may employ profiling techniques and methodologies to screen candidates even before the CV is seen, in a bid to determine whether the candidate possess the desired "qualities" needed to succeed and grow in the vacant role.
However, many (if not all) of these profiling techniques require tedious, arduous and admittedly, gameable tests which are time consuming for the candidates, and more pertinently, risky for the hirer if a high number of candidates have learnt to "game" the tests. This leads to "misaligned expectations", in which the hirer/company thought they have hired the dream candidate, but the candidate was only good at memorising test answers.

Thus, there is a gap and a need to have a non-gameable, non-biased and non-taxing method to profile candidates.
This is where IoN comes alive and into action, to fill that gap for HR professionals or hiring managers to make use for a quick and relatable assessment of potential candidates. Once a basic profile is analysed, follow-on questions can be formulated (part of IoN's add-on package) to determine the candidate's intentions, motivations and aspirations.
There are 9 basic profiles (with 13 extended profiles available if greater nuances are required) in which candidates will fall into. The profiles will be briefly described in a later post.

As society shifts away from the 3rd Industrial Revolution (thus making menial, repetitive jobs obsolete), we are no longer hiring button and paper pushers. It is time to "humanise" hiring again, and hire based on the human behind the CV, not just the memorising humanoid.

The Numerology and Tarot series.

Today, we shall explore the number 12, which corresponds to the Hanged Man in Tarot.

Approaching from the Tarot angle first, one can't help but view the Hanged Man with negative connotations. How can any good come out of a picture of a man, hanged upside down, with hands tied behind his back? It is a depiction of a lost of control, being in a precarious and helpless situation. However, a closer observation reveal a serenity on the man's face, a scene of contentment.
Hence lies the true meaning of the 12th: despite the precarity (the tough lessons of life), all it takes is an ALTERNATE view, a SURRENDER of one's desire and control and ENLIGHTENMENT can be achieved. It is a reminder that there are many paths in life; there will be times where a change of perspective, a letting go of old beliefs and mindsets can spur further growth, both mentally and spiritually. It is a card of potential, and ties in with the Law of Reversal, in which there will be a juncture where our old ways and patterns serve to limit us, rather than aid us anymore.

Thus, it is such with the number 12 as well. While nothing worthwhile on its own, combining the 12 to a 3 (1+2) reveals creativity and growth. Furthermore, by reading the numbers individually (1 to 2 to 3), the potential for growth is there (3) when one is able to contemplate on seeking a balance between the self (1) and others (2). This may involve some sacrifice, a whole lot of reflection and ultimately introspection of one's mandate in life.

Therefore, the 12 is often a karmic lesson: to learn to slow down and contemplate on one's actions, words and thoughts as opposed to the constant rush of usual 12s (remember 1-2-3 Go!)

The Numerology and Tarot series.

In the second post, I shall explore the number 11.
11 is a Master number in Numerology, i.e. it is a number to be analysed on its own and not reduced further. Known as the Master Communicator, people with the number 11 anywhere in their charts will indicate a person with a unique mix of leadership (the two 1s), sense of justice & equality (the 1s in balance) as well as communication, perceptive and diplomatic skills (the 11 reduced to 2). The two 1s also symbolise "the arms in the air", indicating a high spiritual connection and endowing the person with a keen affinity with esoteric knowledge. 11s have to be careful not to indulge in the ego nor intuition (caring too much of others' feelings) as this will result in attracting negative feelings and decision paralysis.

In Tarot, the 11 is referred to as Justice (or in some decks, Strength). I prefer Justice as it aligns better with the Numerology interpretation plus the spiritual enlightenment as inspired in the Tarot. Hence, in addition to an overall interpretation, a divination reading of the 11 will indicate the need for a decision; a well-considered decision that takes into account justice for all parties, equal benefits and without bias.

Therefore, it is obvious why the 11 is considered a Master (and powerful) number, due to its incredible potential to be a positive, balanced leader, both in the physical and spiritual realm.

The Numerology and Tarot series.

In this series, I will look at providing an aligned, basic interpretation of the Major Arcanas of the Tarot, based on Numerology concepts.
For the first post, I will look at the 10th card in the Major Arcana, the Wheel of Fortune.

From the Tarot point of view, the Wheel of Fortune is usually associated with constant (and unexpected) change, cyclical nature of life.
In Numerology, the 10 can first be interpreted as the phase after completion (coming after 9), indicating new beginnings. Breaking it down to its individual numbers, the 1 also indicate new beginnings, while possessing the leadership, innovative and independent nature of the 1. The 0 will thus provide an extreme multiplier effect (any number multiplied by 0 gives 0, whereas any number divided by 0 gives infinity). Hence, the leader can easily become a tyrant, the innovator can easily become a destructor and the independent person can easily become a loner.
In this sense, it becomes a "game of chance" as to which way a person of 10 will become. (Unless they are made aware of this situation in the first place :))

Combining both together, a person with the 10 Arcana energy will most likely be one who is a leader, who likes to take chances/risks to start new ventures and will constantly be looking to innovate. Care must be taken to avoid the negative energy (egoism, loner, obstinate).

What do you think?
Happy to hear comments.
