While conducting a workshop on Church Revitalization at a Bible College, I surveyed the participants β€” mostly pastors β€” on the biggest challenge to church health.

The top answer? Preaching.

Since 2006, in my consultancy work, one of the top five recurring challenges to church growth and health has consistently been gaps in preaching.

We are now living in a rapidly changing, often confusing landscape. More than ever, people need a compass and an anchor β€” and that comes through relevant, faithful, and effective preaching of God’s Word.

In this short video, I would be highlighting 4 critical gaps in preaching that can impact how deeply our congregations understand, feel, and respond to Scripture, especially in today’s hybrid environment.
